Oh brother, now I've seen everything.
People don't reason for themselves, they regurgitate the reasons of others.

sorta like a Satanist lecturing people about what's reasonable
One must know the words and terms of the Bible before they can know the meaning of them.
These terms are compared with other terms and stories to bring enlightenment and reason.
But when the dialogue between spiritual principles is silenced then "reason" is vanity.
People exist their whole lives within this vanity.

Everything I say is quite based in reason. Just like everything you say is based in ignorance.
We all have our trends.

More like error built upon error.

One must study literature in order to know the meaning of the words and terms of the Bible.

Exactly, one must know the scriptures to talk intelligently about them.

I don't think you are correct, you study the Bible from inside out not outside in...
One who has studied - diligently and objectively - both literature and history has a basis from which to discuss intelligently the bible, its antecedents, derivatives, development, and cultural significance. One who begins and ends with any premise dependent upon the bible, of whatever canon, in whatever version or translation, has nothing on which to base intelligent, legitimate critical discussion.

Literature and history can color the simplicity of the scriptures.
Pr 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

What are you trying to say? I lost you here, man. see? I thought that reading and knowing literature people would be able to understand the meaning of texts that contain literature. But the that system must be wrong.

With extraneous literature from the Bible comes traditions with traditions comes "religion"...
The word of God is the sole and only standard for faith and practice.

What?!!!!
Religion and truth are not synonymous words...

I know that...but what does this have to do with studying literature in order to understand literature?
