WILKES-BARRE, Pa., Oct. 5 (UPI) -- U.S. Rep. Don Sherwood, R-Pa., caught up in an extramarital affair and battery lawsuit, has apologized to voters in a TV spot for disappointing them.
"I made a mistake that nearly cost me the love my wife, Carol, and our daughters," Sherwood, 65, said in the ad that was shown this week.
The four-term congressman said he and his family had worked through their problems.
Sherwood admitted to an affair with Cynthia Ore, 30, but denied allegations he in which she claims the congressman repeatedly assaulted her.
A true Murcan. I bet he can dwarf toss with the best of them.
I thought dwarf tossing was Australian.

'course not. Adultery is only a problem if you claim to be Christian...for everyone else, it's simply an error in judgement.
It's best not to claim any moral values...for then you're never hypocritical.
