The new terror detainee bill allows the President to detain and tortore anyone he wants. Including American Citizens If this bill passes then it will be legal for the governmento grab you off the street and torture you to death for no reason without ever charging you with anything. All they have to do is designate you an enemy combatant and then they can strip you of you're citizenship and then do whatever they want to you. This is means that it will litterally be legal for the president to have huge swimming pools full of blood from torture victims and to BarBQ small children on the whitehouse lawn all in the name of stopping the terrorists. Under this new law anyone who disagrees with the president can be designated as an enemy combatant and tortured to death. In fact it would even be legal for Bush to openly murder terror suspects on live Televisioin. This bill will officially make Bush a dictator and allow him to do whatever he wants without fear of consequences.

I'll remind you of that when they grab you in the middle of the night and torture you to death.

You have in mind some sort of torture worse than having to listen to libs and de-moKKKer-rats whining?

Art thou aware that the average terrorist being held at Gitmo has gained 40 lbs from the food there and is in danger of the problems of obesity?

Senate Wins Fight To Lower Allowable Amperage Levels On Detainees' Testicles

September 29, 2006 | Issue 42•40

WASHINGTON, DC-Led by a bipartisan group of senators critical of White House policy on suspected terrorists, the Senate passed a bill Thursday that prohibits interrogators from exceeding 100 amps per testicle when questioning detainees. "Even in times of war, it is counterproductive and wrong to employ certain inhumane interrogation techniques, and using three-digit amperage levels on the testicles of captives constitutes torture," said Sen. John Warner (R-VA), who has also supported reducing the size of attack dogs and the height of nude pyramids. "Using amperages of 99 and lower, with approved surge protectors on the jumper-cable clamps, are the hallmarks of a civilized society." The legislation did not address amperage restrictions on suspected terrorists' labia.

Just a reminder, there can be no dictatorship in the US.

Just more crying from the liberals.

"Terror detainee bill gives bush dictatorial power" the title says, nothing like "US Constitution allows dictatorship" or similar.

I think you need to look up the word, "literally" in the dictionary. The definition AND the correct spelling.
