eXAMPLE SOMEONE WHO HAS SAVED ALL THEIR LIFE,THEIR SAVINGS ALL GO ON CARE HOME COSTS.

Well what kinda' home care would they have gotten if they had not saved all their life?


It's not really the Gov't that might deal out the kind of punishment you are talking about but the free market economy in which we live.


If anything that system rewards prudent saving and investing, it doesn't punish it.
