These photographs have not been altered. They were snapped last night by Jason Reed, working for Reuters News Agency. The captions are from Reuters, too. And the symbolism is plain enough to shout for itself, with no further comment from us. Helen & Harry Highwater

Thank you for using the anniversary of this horrible tragedy for partisan political gain.

Tragedy for political gain?
Is this anniversary not the ideal time for the administration to "remind" Americans how well his administration and his policies have made America safe...and thow they should be reminded of that come November?
Surely you jest......

I do not jest. I believe that the observance of this tragedy should be non-partisan. I find it in bad taste to directly link an observance of the anniversary with a political statement. You disagree, then?

I fully and completely agree with you Brandon. 100% and without question.
However, there are people like F4F and the Bush administration who insist that this is a means to a political end.

Bush has traded in the hidden backpack from his debating days and is testing a new club leg.

Could someone post a link to these photos on a more mainstream news source?

Good one. Still looks photoshopped but I suppose the truth will out.
