I should make clear I saw The Sun headline only briefly, as I was in my newsagent's premisis to purchase my usual quality daily paper and The London Review of Books.

The Daily Express would be a good idea today, not only because it's 5 p cheaper than the Mail and has pics of Jennifer: eternal life is waving

What you doin' in a nightie this time of the day girl....or shouldn't I ask?

No thunder here, plenty rain though.

Or if it was last night you mean, not even the four horsemen of the Apollocips could wake me once I'm over.

Boody Hell, MuckT!

Have you got ear-plugs in?

You can't be that far away from me. It knocked out the phone lines (for a while) and set off the house alarm - and I banged my head really bad going in the 'cubby hole' to se-set it!

I'm on a well seserved day off!

I AM a Civil Savant - doesn't feel right if I put a full week in...

Actually the present Mrs McTag did wake me and told me she was having a heart attack...I got her some Gaviscon which fixed it. Then I went back to sleep.

I'm a saint, really.

It sure has put some down in these parts today, thunder, lightening, wind, trees down, floods, traffic snarl ups and a flooded valley!

Looks like another big one is about to hit too, massive dark clouds over the Irish sea, no wonder the dog was howling last night.

What you going to do about it Saint Mac?
