We have all of those and more.
Melting pot, and all that.
(But, yes .. spelling Edinburgh confounds me.)

Put it down to the cold. Everything shrivels a bit.

Depending on how you pronounce the the "u's´" ...
I've been to the High Court of Justiciary and to the Court of Session twice.
Because there not only where three years bewteen those visits but a lot of talks with local Scottish women and men I could follow the procedures in the court rooms the second time(s) at least a bit (better).
Craven's told me that the cheque is STILL in the post, but I live in hope, Gus.

But then you knew that.

Since I am self-employed and feel guilty about going on A2K during working hours, I stop paying myself the minute I get on and do not start re-payment until I have logged off.
I feel much better about myself that way.

Of course!
How could I survive without fleecing the good, honest taxpayers of Great B, eh?
I've just noticed that I'm nearing the old ten thousand. Do I get a certificate from A2K or anything? Or is there a cash prize?
We were gettin' down, shaking our respective booty. Or bootees.

I think we should all try our best to make Ticomaya smile.
Most of you won't know but he plays left-back for his local football team.
That is a position which causes a certain dourness in those who have to play there.
They are a sort of brick wall and when they make one mistake everybody laughs.
When I played I lead the line. We could make mistake after mistake up front and as long as we knocked one or two past the goalie's despairing fingertips we could run around the touchline waving our shirt in the air. Well -we could until they banned it and had to content ourselves with big smiles and being kissed and hugged by hairy arsed monsters.
I remember one, no names no pack drill, who won a big award for scoring 20 odd goals in a season and nobody remembered the 200 sitters he missed not a few of which my grandmama could have put in.
Playing left-back gets none of that. It's a thankless task.
They are usually slow on their feet are left-backs and in order to even things up they have to kick and trip and whatnot and this means that they have to be dour in the nature of things.
But I think we should try to cheer them up and get them to take their task a little less seriously then it would be easier to knock even more into the back of the net and strikers could have more opportunities to celebrate more goals and take the plaudits of the adoring fans.
On the other hand, if Tico was our left-back I might have a different opinion.
