My son is in prison as well. He was sent there on February 14th for attacking a drug dealer. My son has cancer. I cried for 2 months. He has a child and a wife. I worry about him day and night but......you have to understand that there is nothing you could have done for your sons, that it was not your fault that they chose to do what they did and that life goes on regardless. So, pray for them, communicate with them if they are willing to and understand that there is not much that you can do now. They are grown men. They made choices that were not wise. They might get to have second chances. Perhaps mine won't because of the disease that he will not have treated now. All I know is that he leaves behind a young wife, a tiny child, a mother and brothers and grandparents who all cry for him, but this was a choice that he made and perhaps if we would have made him take responsibility for his actions when he was younger, then he would not be in prison now.
