Yeah, they probably get the supreme quality that comes in a gallon size.

I dunno. I have suspicions not. My own dear Kelly had a lap of beer once, ... and he loved it. My own dear SandPaw had almost an entire lid once, not my lid (I never had any lids, I was born too soon, though I wasn't too out of it to try stuff); he was none the worse for wear, which I found out when I got home from work to the news, a tad sluggish, but it was one more reason I wanted that guy out of the place.

Margo, Are all Yellowglen wines named after colours? I remember reading about their "Yellow" and that it was the most popular easy drinking wine in Australia. I've never been able to find it here (Canada) but from what you say maybe I should be grateful Drunk

Yellowglen make some quite good sparkling wines, and some cheaper ones that are meant for not-so-serious drinking - like "Yellow" and "Pink" and possibly "Red". I didn't realise it was considered the most popular quaffing wine - guess I'm not much of a quaffer! As with all things, it's a matter of taste. I've not tried Pink, but don't like Yellow. They make some other wines as well .

Not all Australian wines available in other countries are available in Oz - or they may have different names or packaging here. The top selling brands of Oz wine in Sweden I've never heard of - and some of them were very good. This is undoubtedly the case elsewhere.
