British Terror plot is a hoax!

Apearently the British Terrorist plot to blow up airliners over the Atlanitc was totally staged. The leader of the group was linked to the Pakistan ISI intelligence service which is a known CIA front. It's the same old story. Just like the leader of the supposed teror cell in florida turned out to be FBI. In this case the supposed bombers didn't even have passports so how are they going to blow up a plane if they couldn't get on one in the first place. Even the former British Ambassedor to Uzbekistan is saying that this is all propaganda.

Check out the articles I've linked to below

These video clips prove that the terrorist plot in Florida was staged.

Here's a clip from MSNBC's Countdown where they talk about how Bush uses terror alerts to cover his ass when he's in political trouble.

But, but the former British Ambassedor to Uzbekistan must be "with the terrorists". Gotta be.

I only read the article from the Guardian, since that's the only reputable source you linked, and the article doesn't make any assertions about the legitimacy of the plot, or the threats. It only talks about how peoples perceptions of government honesty have lessened in recent years, and how that may be a result of the current historical context. (lack of WMD in Iraq)

For god's sakes man, those clips, one from jon stewart and one from CNN do not PROVE the plot was staged. They cast doubt on whether or not these fellows were a threat.

As to your sources up above, the two that are credible don't provide evidence for your claims.

He's presently refueling it. Then he has to simonize. Somebody somewhere said something positive about the UN and he's going to take them out big time.

Ok, so the US lies. The Brits lie. Who else is in on this dastardly plot?

Come on. Fess up.

My wife's third cousin on her mother's sister's husband's father's aunt's side of the family has proof positive that the French are involved. They want to take over the world, don't ya know.

The 9/11attack also was staged. I have it on good authority that the twin towers of the WTC were never attacked nor destroyed. They're still there in New York -- just cleverly camouflaged. (And I bet if I did a web-search, I'd find somebody who has "proof" of this. Smile)

Could be that David Copperfield guy. He once made an airplane disappear. He now claims to have found the fountain of youth on an island he recently purchased (lucky him). Maybe that's where he took all those people from those planes that supposedly hit the WTC. I mean, they gotta be somewhere. And what better place than an island with the fountain of youth, to keep them forever young for keeping his secret.

I think this needs to be looked into.

Well, reaper has got himself out on a pretty skinny limb here and I reckon it will hold his weight for another...oh ****, there he goes!

On the other hand, there are serious questions regarding the credibility of (and timinig of) accounts or publicized estimates of threat level by both administrations, though I consider the Brits considerably more credible than the Bush people.

I am sure there are things that we don't know, that we'll never know...shady stuff perhaps but I am not convinced that this whole thing is an elaborate plot concerning practically the entire freakin' world.

Certainly, that would be a foolish conclusion.

The Brit press is rather less intimidated by their leaders than is the press here, so I expect we'll slowly get a credible accounting of the matter. For one thing, they can only hold these fellows for another two or three weeks without charges. That ought to focus things.

Attorney General: Terrorists are in our neighborhoods

"They are in our closets! They are under our beds! They are hiding in the azalea bushes at the end of our driveways! They are hiding in my wife's lingerie! We gotta stop 'em! Now! Oooooh, bad, bad, BAD, terrorists!" -- Official White Horse Souse

What is a White Horse Souse--a pale drunken equine? Why should we place any credence in some snockered horse?

I think this is a prime example of how a questionable and rash act (the early arrest of the would-be terrorist suspects) gets blown up into a full-scale conspiracy scenario by the lunatic fringe internet sites. As I understand it, from what I have read so far, MI5 and MI6 (one or the other or both) had an ongoing investigation into the activities of some of those people now cooling their heels in British jails. There seems little doubt that they were, in fact, planning something along the lines of what has been disclosed so far: the blowing up of a number of airliners enroute from Britain to North America. The problem was that there was no time frame as yet, no schedule that the authorities knew of. That is why the investigation was quitely continuing. But the US authorities got wind of it. Bush & Co.'s reputation being what it is right now (somewhere in the vicinity of being ready for flushing down the cloaca) the Americans insisted that the conspirators be taken into custody immediately and their nefarious scheme made public. I'm sure they made their request sound and look like genuine concern for the safety of airline passengers, but it's easy to see how immediate public anti-terrorist action could be used to the advantage of the incumbent political party. It is rumored that the Brits were not happy with this request, that the professional intelligence agents insisted they needed more time to fine-tune the evidence. (This would be the reason why the detained suspects have not yet been charged -- there was not time enough to collect enough evidence to bring before the Queen's Bench.) Bush insisted. Tony Blair found it impossible to demur. After all, we are talking about a major act of terrorism here. So the alleged conspirators were rounded up, airports world-wide were put on red alert, and conspiracy theorists were given carte blanche to claim that there was no threat. There was a threat. The only question at this point is, how imminent was it?

Sounds like Bush did what he always does, screws things up. The idiot is a regular bull in a china shop. He can destroy everything but he can't build anything.
