Name two.

...controversial issues that you have no opinion on...

As I said b4,
I was neutral qua the Israel-Moslem dispute,
until 9/11; that is a little out of date because
of the attack upon the WTC.
I practiced law in there, in the 1970s n 1980s,
trying cases in the NY Court of Claims, against the State of NY.

2 in addition thereto r :

1 ) Whether or not it shud be a crime
for parents to spank children.
I can see arguments both ways on that.
I 'm glad that I don 't have to decide that.

2 ) Another is homosexual marriage.
I 'm ambivalent between deep, fundmental tradition
and freedom to do as one chooses;
I m glad that I don 't have to decide that one.

For the most part,
I 'm a very opinionated man.
There r relatively few issues of controversy
as to which I have not chosen sides.

But the left aren't anti-Israeli, even though the pro-Israeli movement insists that they are. Therefore, once again it is the rightwingers/neocons who hop on this for political gain, and who hope for continued unrest in the Middle East, for it is what manipulates their constituency into fear and paranoia, thereby blindly putting their trust in a party that has done nothing but foment fear, incompetence and corruption into the American political process.

The argument for a "sustainable" cease fire from the likes of Condi Rice and others is nothing but lip service to the war mongering neocons who insist on this reckless policy of chaos. It also distracts from the unbelievable failings of the Iraq war, which has been managed by the same party of fear, incompetence and corruption. And it placates to the pro-Israeli movement in this country.

Hey Dys, is this what you mean by a wing-nut?

I think any reasonable person has feelings for innocent civilians, no matter which side of the fence they sit on. I think fear, greed and hatred keeps nations from seeking statesmanship over and above knee jerk killing and blaming. I don't see equilibrium being established in the foreseeable future.
