What should I do or say?

Hi, I know it's been long since my last post here, but I thought I could

deal with my troubles with my own. Ok, I was wrong; there are many

things other than illness troubles which I'm nearly expert with it now Smile

The truth is that I didn't feel like writing the previous time, I don't know

why.

Now, after the long battle which isn't over yet, my father keeps asking

me this difficult question; I want to go to the doctors, and I want to walk

again, could you take me there and make me walk again?!

what should I say?. OK , except the lies thing!

Navigator--

Glad to see you back, even if the circumstances are distressing.

Is your father getting old and forgetful? Why is he unable to walk?

You can't lie. You have to be prepared to explain over and over that the doctors have done all that they can do; that you know how tired your father is of being confined to the house/bed; that even though he can't walk, he can have melons or a special t.v. program or an hour of complaint about his aches and pains and limitations.

Without lecturing--which will do no good--try to show him what he does have.

Hold your dominion.

Hi Noddy, I'm happy to read from you again. You seem to have forgotton

dad's case. He's hemiplegia, and about going to hospitals and seeing

doctors it would be the story of my life!

You are right about telling everything to him, but I can't help seeing him

like begging me to walk again, though it is impossible Rolling Eyes

THanks Noddy.
