Your right.....you must produce the evidence according to your own standard. That is according to what YOU read.
The Santa Claus tale has a foundation in historical fact. Whether you believe this or not is of no consequence"

Good all saint Nick was some kind of historical figure right? maybe he even went from house to house bringing goodies to expecting children
around an specific and limited area; from this tale it grew totally out of proportion
the myth that he could do this all over the world in one single night even after he had died.
Following the same argument no one could dispute that there were from time to time charismatic men followed by desperate souls yearning for a kind word (which is something seen in our own day) who as time went by grew into mythical proportions; that is, it came to be believed that they could do this even after they had died all the time over a much extended geographic area.
Children though are eventually told that Santa
is dead; which kind of shocks them at first; some might even cry (see above) but eventually they get over it; they mature. Mankind too has been told the gods are dead; they've been shocked and cried sadly as well, (see your own post  ) but don't worry; you'll eventually get over it too.
Mankind will mature too... whether you believe this or not is of no consequence.
