I'm looking for ways to make money using the internet. I can navigate on a level of 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. I can find people on the net. I can research and find most information on the net. Therefore, please give me advice on which businesses are legitimate and don't cost much to start.
My background is in Aerospace/Defense, and I was a Sr. Technical Writer. I am very detailed and can, of course, write and edit well. Any advice is very much appreciated.
Thank You.

My advice is to be very, very careful - the 'net is crawling with folks looking to make money off of folks who are looking to make money on the 'net, and some of the predators are very, very good at what they do. A rule of thumb; if they want money from you, just move on without even bothering to be polite. Oh, and another helpful hint - get yourself a free web-based email account, such as HotMail, YahooMail, LycosMail, or MyWayMail (to list just a few) from which to conduct all related correspondence; if you don't, your primary email inbox will become all but unusable.
And just to be safe, scan anything in that inbox before opening - use both a good antivirus and at least one good antispyware scanner, preferably each with realtime protection.
I believe info product creation is the way to go.
I've just started to follow James Brausch' system. Seems promising to me and refreshing different from the usual "Make Money on the Net" BS.
