Jeffrey Kuhner, Wash Times, Lieberman Might Lose Primary

Appearing on The Will and Willie Show on The Quake, San Francisco, Kuhner reports that Lieberman is leading by 8 or 9 points but that Lamont is closing the gap and Lamont could conceivably win the primary. (Of course, why else would Joe consider a Third Party run?)

Whatever happens, this is a pretty amazing development. No one gave Lamont a snowball's chance in hell when he announced. OTOH no one doubts that Lieberman would win if he ran as an independent in the general election.

Kuhner further opines that the Dems will win at least one House of Congress. Remember this guy writes for the Washington Times not the new York Times.
