The effort to get Barcelona on track sputtered when we had three different possible dates and I couldn't get folks to answer on how to resolve that (just pick one, vote on this thread, start a new poll). Well, O'Bill answered, but I wanted to hear from more.
You came up with an actual date, what a relief, but nobody answered, unless I somehow missed it. The date for Barcelona you picked was the one almost no one had been interested in the whole previous part of the thread (something to do with the horribleness of traveling around easter), except me, and I can't go.
Msolga will be in Italy, where and what dates not sure, in April.
Dys and Diane hope to go to Barcelona in, I think, Oct or November. Jane has talked about June for Barcelona, and, I'm guessing, Germany, but not spoken of a date.
After I officially gave up and time passed, Walter and I started talking about how to rig a meeting out of when you are in Slovenia, as there might be a day there you could travel from Slovenia if close by... perhaps in Vienna. Nobody answered.
I think ehBeth is aiming for Vienna in the fall.
Newcomers to these lugubrious threads, like O'Bill and Smorgs and Marty have interest in meeting, as I figure do the original seven who said they'd meet any time, and at least two of those thought of rechoosing a place, perhaps Rome... there was rue that we didn't have a matrix when we were choosing a site.
So, CI, whyn't you start a new thread, mention your days when you could meet, and see what happens?
There's been a little change in plans since I posted my schedule, because I'm joining some friends on a tour from the Adriatic to the Black Sea from April 16-30. I pushed back my Slovenia/Croatia trip to May 14-June 11 to accommodate the Adriatic trip. I'm free from May 28-June 10 for independent travel, so I'm all ears.
Aha, this could be good! But, since there has been quite a slow down on this thread, why don't you start a new one centered on those dates? You still want to go for Barcelona? (whatever, as far as I'm can see, except that all the decision making takes time). Way back there, there was interest in Barcelona in May and June.. and maybe the anytime seven will reappear.
Alternately, we could just keep talking here. If there is activity, maybe interest will pick up, and some people who posted earlier are probably getting updates here already.

I've made my 2007 plans (and flight/hotels) bookings already - but not for that period in Barcelona.
