Like any of us is old..humph! Rae and I are great Metallica fans BTW...you're never too old to RR Smile
I like LP, they're pretty darn good, dont have their new one though.

I like doubldrive and Imprint right now...maybe because I am old Wink
IMPRINT

One step
I make an IMPRINT
Two steps is commitment
Three steps I'm not done yet
Draw my other leg up and the pace is set

hello hello hello hello hello

Gotta believe in what's real
You gotta go with what you know
You can leave here with a good feeling
You let them know you told them so

Jesus Christ and Heaven's always been there

Gotta believe in what's real
You gotta go with what you know

One step . . .

hello hello hello hello hello

Gotta tell you what I feel
Although your tank is running low
Over the split life for real
Pat the hood you're good to go
Hear you now
You're cut from the cords of the wicked

You gotta believe in what's real
you gotta move on down the road

One step. . . .

One step. . . .

Gotta believe in what's real
((and it makes me ???))

One step . . .

gotta believe in what's real

One step . . .
Two steps. . .I know what I need you gotta believe
Three steps . . .

One step . . .

I'm feelin' you Quinn,
...I too don't mind being called old, because, you don't get old accidently, You have to work at it everyday.... But on the other hand I'll never grow up, or reach maturity. What's left after that?

oh yeah, booman - by "welfare boys", I don't mean men currently on welfare. I mean guys who grew up on welfare.

I forgot. <winks>

OK ... let's talk about linkin Park ... if anyone's still here.

I know NOTHING about them, actually - not even the name of that single I liked so much in the winter of 2001.

So enlighten me ... what do they ... *do*?

Found it ... it's In the End ... about being old. heheheheh

All I know
time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It’s so unreal
Didn’t look out below
Watch the time go right out the window

anastasia, that happens to me sometimes when I copy and paste. I think that the punctuation is not recognized.

"Easier to run"

If I could change, I would, Take back the pain, I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made, I would
If I could stand up and take the blame, I would
If I could take all the shame to the grave, I would

Say - justa bit off topic - saw Bowling for Columbine finally - awesome movie and certainly disturbing. Interview with Marilyn Manson was terrific and shows some folks that there may be something "more" to the alternative bands and heaviest rock/metal. The last movie my son saw before I drove him to his departure for the Air Force this week? And, BTW, I went along with he and his pals - "House of 1,000 Corpses" by Rob Zombie. Ummmmm - it was "interesting"...

I've never seen Bowling For Columbine but saw bits of it on Oprah<lol>

Back to LP. I can't really give much past history on them b/c I only became a hard core fan with their CD Hybrid Theory. I know that that was the name that they were called b/f they changed it to Linkin Park. I love seeing them perform. Chester and the guys sing with such energy, passion, and emotion.

Anastasia- I noticed you changed your signature to an eminem quote. Grrrrr (lol).

To each their own, indeed, Scarling.

I was supremely disappointed to hear Metallica's new release last week ~ 'St. Anger'.

I hope the rest of the new cd is better.

37 and still rockin,

Rae

So sad, isn't it, cav?

Have been playing my Metallica cd's tonight ~ my ears are ringin!

<note to self.....loud music is not helpful when running a fever and feeling generally icky.....>
