Could Lou Dobbs be right?

First of all I am no fan of Lou Dobbs, in fact, I think the man couldn't say **** if his mouth was full of it but; today he said. in effect, that 'with all the serious issues facing congress such as Iraq/the economy/health care/immigration/terrorism the US Senate has shut down for 3 days for debate of a constitutional aammendment which has zero chance of passing.

The only possible vote these jokers deserve is to elect anyone who runs against them. This idiotic display enouraged and abetted by George W Bush can only result in the US Congress becoming the laughing-stock of the world. Bill Frist, I do hope you run for president, that would insure a liberal win (at least a Libertarian win)

Look at the bright side...
As long as they are debating this ridiculous amendment,they cant do any damage.
After all,we all know that they cant do 2 things at once.
