As many of the nation's radio stations, stations that refuse to play the Dixichicks,are now owned by corporations such as ClearChanel, who contribute regularly to the Republican Party, this may well be indicating something more.

I don't even listen to these girls, but am contemplating buying their albums, just to make a statement.

I really never listened to them either. I made my own personal statement when they were first trashed in the country music industry by never listening to country again. (used to be a fan of Reba) Maybe I'll make another statement by buying their new CD, I haven't actually bought a CD or record in years.
