my bet is they tie it up in appeals and then their bitch gwb pardons them on the way out....

My guess is that Bear has it right. Big guys almost never do time when their good buddy is in the White House

Lay in particular has been convicted two times in one week. He may ride out an appeal or two, but I believe he will eventually get locked up.

Republicans control the strong elements of our government and media, meaning they can suppress dissent, while choosing the type of propaganda that moves people. Being friends of the makers of paperless voting machines also helps. It may be a slow process, this Waterloo thing, Gus.
