Erratum: due to software problems I had to use for 2/3 of these pics the HP Perfection scanner (9600)

There is something to be said for black and white pictures.
With some of them you could print postcards, Walter. Very nice pictures!

Walter, what other parts of Chicago did you visit, besides the Loop?

Well, I think I've taken photos from most places I've been to - you can follow my steps in my Chicago photo thread. (And I've been to the meeting in sublime's condo - pics on a different thread, too.

Brushed them under the carpet.

(And "no" - no pics from inside the RV due to photo guidelines, privacy etc, you know!)

great photographs , walter !
black and white does really bring out the artform , particularly in architectural and landscape shots .
i'll start posting some of my pix (i won't call them 'photographs' !)
from our south-america cruise shortly .
they are not up to the standard of walter's photographs - it was the first time i used a digital camera - still trying to get used (?) to all the tiny little buttons and switches .

Ditto with me: all the other photos than those here where done with my brand-new (four days actually at that time) digital camera (NIKON D200) .... and more or less the first time, I've used a digital camera (seriously) at all.

(Photos here, as said, with film and analogue camera.)

Good stuff man, im really liking it. The first picture seems like its very old school, wether you where going for that or not. The black and white, and just the overall surrounds and buildings, and mainly the giant antena on the tallest building, im really like them!
