"It was so weird", said the pilot and several passengers... "it seemed almost like the lightning was seeking out the right wing"....

I suppose Hillary and crew will now say it was all part of "a vast right-wing conspiracy" against Teddy to discredit his wind farm comments.

Uh...newsflash...I know Ellen is a lesbian; however I still think the real reason for Katrina had more to do with God's displeasure with wild frivolity (it's a well known fact that God loves us queers).

Could you kindly pass me some more boudin?

Nah.

It was god's sign to the vast right wing obsessed that he has forgiven Teddy:

"Ok right wing nut suckers....here you go. I COULD have zapped teddy, but I didn't. Look and learn. Forgiveness is yours, and vengeance could have been mine...but hey....I forgave. Hopefully it might make you vengeful hordes think. But I won't be holding My breath..... Sigh....."

Speaking of vengeful hordes, care to discuss Pelosi and her comments last week regarding the Democratic Whackadoodle impeachment plans on George? Talk about vengeful...

I see you're buying into the talking points, Sturgis. The repubs are making sure to paint any attempt at impeachment or investigation as revenge.

Who do you think brought up the question of "will dems impeach / investigate and waste important government time if they get a majority? Repubs are framing it as such so they can say "See, told ya so," if it happens, or to deter it from happening via reverse psychology.

We ALL need to stop falling for the head games (no pun intended) and take charge of OUR government and the American agenda. None of them really care one iota about "us." When the majority figures that out, maybe then things will change.

Same thing goes with Republicans putting forth that the NYT and Washington Post are traitors for revealing that we are being spied on by our government. They attack the truth and call it treason.

We need to stop allowing such games with OUR country and remind them for whom they work.

Georgie Porgie is currently ******* up your country and the world.

Teddy Weddy's incident occurred decades ago, and is in relation to a man who is not president .....and the right wing nuts only bring him up as a trollish endeavour to destroy any discussion of the current regime and iots actions.

Just watch the hysterical "Do you think there is a statute of limitations for manslaughter you amoral stinking beast" crap that occurs here because I made that statement.

Yes, I think there comes a time to forgive...do you?

The only way government will work in this country is by tearing it down and starting off nearly from scratch. The average politician (as is the case with many voters) marches steadily along party lines never thinking one thing on their own...and therein lies the danger. Getting them (the mucky-muck politicos) to remember who they are supposed to be working for seems to be a lost cause. Why? In large part, because people in general are too apathetic to force a change in leadership.

Teddy does a good enough job on screwing things up on his own. Think WIND FARMS and his two faced nature there.

I can hardly wait!

I forgive when the offender admits their wrongdoing. Up until then it seems senseless, nay, pointless to forgive.

FYI,
There is a statute of limitations on manslaughter...

http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol14_Ch0701-0853/HRS0701/HRS_0701-0108.HTM

http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/codis/legislation/HB%20656.pdf
No statute on manslaughter in this one

http://www.ny.gov/governor/press/00/feb23_00.htm
The Governor's first proposal will eliminate the statute of limitations on serious violent felonies, including first-degree rape, manslaughter and assault that now have a five-year statute of limitations.

There are more, but I was just showing what the SOL is in some states.

Actually, Deb, most of us were making lighthearted comments about Kennedy's close call. Nobody was hurt, so what's the harm?

I believe 'twas you who escalated things by namecalling and hyperventilating and foaming and frothing.

Maybe you should keep a paperbag around to breathe into when you get these urges?
