No matter where you go... bushs' popularity, trust and ability to get anything done has eroded horribly with the majority of Ameicans both professional politicians and regular folks. Please don't ask for links. I don't have time to even skim the surface of them.

Here are a couple though.

Any print media

Any broadcast media

Any internet media

Any polls.

He will be talked about negatively long after Clinton cigar jokes are a small slightly humorous footnote in history.

Serves him right, IMO.

My post had a point. Even if one granted that it was a knee jerk reaction, which I do not grant, it still contains a point that is capable of being either correct or incorrect. You avoid responding to it only because you cannot. Your rationalizations for avoiding a direct, on point competition between your viewpoint and mine are irrelevant. You simply prefer to function via the snide remark, since you cannot defend your opinions in a calm, logical argument.

No, I prefer to function via the snide remark because True Believers in the party line like yourself cannot be reasoned with. I refuse to waste my time in attempting to do so. If I'm going to waste time, it will be by poking fun at your expense. It's simply more fun and makes for marvelous entertainment.

You're flattering yourself. The kind of semantic games you're referring to are asking for evidence, the use of deduction, and so on. If you allege that I am wrong, merely point to any post in which I tried to play a semantic game rather than argue the point.

Most of the liberals here simply choose not to have a dignified, on-topic, non-personal discussion, because they have neither the ability nor the inclination. Their pattern is to make claims that they cannot provide evidence for, and then use ad hominems to deflect requests for evidence. I have shown in my several years of posts here that I virtually always prefer to debate on the level of evidence and on topic debate. I am the one with the substance. In the limited number of times that someone has given me a dignified, on-topic response, I have tried to respond in kind. The people without substance are the liberals who function on the level of snide remakrs in lieu of defense of ideas.

I found out long ago that trying to reason with these true believers is a big waste of time. Laughing at them is far more entertaining. Unfortunately, the jokes on us because these fools who refuse to believe the truth enable the administration to continue to wreak havoc on the entire world. We (and our children and their children and even their children) will be paying for the Repuiblican's disastrous policies for decades, assuming they don't lead to total collapse.

No, "I could defend my ideas, but I'm so far above you that I won't lower myself" is just your smoke screen to conceal an inability to compete in a debate. In the world of debate, someone who makes an assertion and then refuses to defend it is merely the loser, despite whatever rationalization he may make.

Please continue to refer to disastrous policies, lies, and corruption, but never to give an example with evidence. This will demonstrate the truth of your opinions.

As if yor repetetive denials constitute a debate? What gets me is that anyone in real life with such views would be totally ignored. In this format, it is pretty much impossible to ignore the fools so the only recourse is derision and scorn.

Brandy reminds me of kit-kat bar in the relationships forum, who is in a bad relationship and everyone tells her to deal with it in various ways and she ignores everyone and continues in her abusive realtionship. It is really astounding that people can remain in such denial. OTOH it is a very common trait among us humans.
