CIA's Foggo Expected to Resign Soon

Quote:
May 08, 2006 11:40 AM

Brian Ross and Richard Esposito Report:

Dusty Foggo, the executive director of the CIA linked to a bribery investigation, is expected to resign soon, according to CIA officials and his associates.

Outgoing CIA Director Porter Goss had refused to remove Foggo from his powerful post after Foggo came under investigation by the FBI and the CIA Inspector General.

A CIA official said Foggo's resignation would be "pretty normal" following the resignation of Goss as Director.

The choice of Foggo to run the agency's day-to-day activities has been cited as an example of Goss' mismanagement of the spy agency.

Before being handpicked by Goss, Foggo had been written up for insubordination by his supervisor, the highest ranking African American woman in the CIA.

A CIA official confirmed the incident but said the insubordination report was never formally filed.

The supervisor, Jeanette Moore, resigned shortly after Foggo was promoted by Goss.

Foggo recently admitted that he attended Washington, D.C. poker parties that figure in a widening corruption scandal involving a defense contractor, Brent Wilkes, who is a longtime friend of Foggo.

Federal officials are investigating whether Wilkes also provided prostitutes at the parties. Foggo has denied seeing any prostitutes at the parties he attended.

The FBI and the CIA Inspector General are both investigating whether any of the CIA contracts awarded to Wilkes were handled improperly.

Foggo has strongly denied any impropriety involving CIA contracts.

CIA's number three resigns

RAW STORY
Published: Monday May 8, 2006

CIA Executive Director Kyle 'Dusty' Foggo has resigned his post, according to an email sent out to the agency Monday morning, MSNBC reported Monday.

Foggo's resignation was reported Monday on MSNBC. The email, which the network did not provide, allegedly stated that in light of CIA Director Porter Goss's departure, Foggo is stepping down.

According to MSNBC, the e-mail stated that "new directors deserve the ability to bring in their own team," and that Foggo expects to remain on the job for a few more weeks during the "transition."

Excerpts from web exclusive article by Newsweek:

#
As NEWSWEEK first reported, the CIA's inspector general has been investigating whether Foggo helped steer agency contracts to companies run by Brent Wilkes, a defense contractor who was identified as an unindicted co-conspirator when former San Diego congressman and ex-Navy air ace Randy (Duke) Cunningham pleaded guilty in a Congressional bribery scandal.

...

The inspector general was looking into at least one specific contract, worth between $2 million and $3 million, which a CIA base in Germany granted to a company run by a relative of Wilkes.

...

...a source has told NEWSWEEK that Foggo had acknowledged to associates that he may have tipped off Wilkes that CIA contracts were coming up for bid?-an activity which, according to the source, Foggo said was neither improper nor illegal. The source is close to a group of poker players who took part in a 1999 game arranged by Wilkes and attended by Foggo, Cunningham and a nine-fingered former CIA officer named Brant Bassett, who worked for Goss when the outgoing CIA chief was House Intelligence Committee chair.

Foggo denies giving Wilkes any such tip-offs, according to another source close to the outgoing CIA official; Bassett and lawyers for Wilkes and Cunningham had no comment.

The Loss of Goss
Why did the CIA's chief resign so abruptly?
Posted on Monday, May 8, 2006. By Ken Silverstein.
SourcesWhy did CIA chief Porter Goss resign on Friday? There are several theories, and one of the most widely circulated holds that Goss quit after losing a simple turf war with John Negroponte, the Director of National Intelligence. And yes, Negroponte and Goss have been feuding over turf, but it seems unlikely that this is the sole explanation for Goss's exit.

As UPI reporter Shaun Waterman has written, "There may be underlying reasons for Goss's departure that are . . . prosaic?-he was seen by some as lacking vision and criticized by others as a lousy manager?-but the rumor-mill was stoked by the fact that his departure on Friday had the unconvincing choreography of the Andropov-era Soviet Union." In fact, people I've talked to say that the resignation is not only the result of a feud with Negroponte but is also at least indirectly connected to potential fallout from the Duke Cunningham scandal.

That scandal continues to unfold. Dusty Foggo, Goss's once-surprise pick for the CIA's number-three post (who reportedly quit today), has acknowledged attending parties thrown by Brent Wilkes, the defense contractor who allegedly bribed Cunningham, at the Watergate Hotel. Foggo is now under investigation, and his ties to Wilkes are being scrutinized by Cunningham-case investigators and internally at the CIA. Foggo has denied having any knowledge regarding the prostitutes who allegedly attended the parties. Goss, through the CIA press office, claims never to have attended the parties at all.

The names of two other people with ties to Goss have surfaced in connection with the Cunningham scandal. One of them is a man nicknamed "Nine Fingers," whom Newsweek identified as Brant Bassett. "An eyewitness," reads the article, "(who asked not to be identified commenting on sensitive matters) told Newsweek that in 1999, Foggo, Cunningham and [Bassett] attended an all-male Wilkes poker party at the Westin Grand Hotel in Washington." I was also told by one well-connected former CIA officer that Bassett is one of the agency's old Soviet hands who "always managed to get himself into trouble."

"This," said the former CIA officer of Goss's resignation, "was not expected. No one, including Goss, knew it was coming."

Meanwhile, I double-checked with my sources regarding who attended Wilkes's parties, and all of them repeated what they had said before: over the years, at least six former and current members of Congress were said to have been at events sponsored by Wilkes, and their names have apparently been provided to investigators in the Cunningham case. Also, it wasn't only congressmen who were at the parties; intelligence officials, businessmen, and assorted hangers-on also attended. (As we previously noted, some of the attendees may have simply dropped by for a drink.)

I've been told by several sources that one of the people in attendance at the parties?-not a current or former member of Congress?-has a long international track record of Bill Clinton-style sexual indiscretions. A person with direct knowledge of the matter told me that this man?-let me put this delicately?-once, some years ago, while in Europe, kept company with an acquaintance whose work attire resembled Halle Berry's in the film Catwoman. (Ma'am, if you are out there reading this, please contact [email protected] immediately, as I have many questions. A translator will be provided if needed.)

In related news, members of Congress have announced they will investigate the $21.2 million contract between the Department of Homeland Security and Shirlington Limousine of Alexandria, Virginia. As I first reported here on April 27, Shirlington is the firm that is deeply implicated in the Cunningham scandal and got the DHS contract despite being headed by a man with a lengthy criminal record. "The information we've obtained," GOP Rep. Mike Rogers of Alabama, who chairs the House subcommittee that oversees DHS, told the New York Times in a story that ran yesterday, "raises a number of serious questions, from the contracting process to possible security concerns." Today, two members of Congress sent a letter to Homeland Security Inspector General Richard Skinner, requesting further investigation into the DHS contracts with Shirlington Limousine.

Yawn Yawn? Do you have any idea the collusion and blackmail that can occur in politics and media from sex scandal such as this? If you go back into our nations history this is the fastest track to impeachment folks. Wake up! In World Times today and hitting mainstream.

It looks like we will be able to start celebrating shortly. It is only a
matter of time.

2) New Scandals to Rock Wash. D.C.

TOM HENEGHAN & STEW WEBB REVEAL NEW SCANDALS ABOUT TO ROCK WASHINGTON, DC

Major government officials and media about to be caught up in numerous sex
scandals.

Lou Dobbs says "this government is not working."

by Scott Mowry

5.8.06

The news emanating from our nation's capital continues to grow worse and
worse by the week. While an unprecedented number of highly questionable
policy decisions, misconducts and outright lies have already emerged from
the Bush administration and Congress this year, yet another major scandal is
set to rock Washington, DC to its very core.

In what could well be the most explosive scandal to date, a whole host of
sordid and sensationalistic charges are about to be leveled against members
of Congress, the administration, the Pentagon and the media involving
prostitution, pedophilia, homosexual and bi-sexual indiscretions.

On Thursday, May 4, 2006, Tom Heneghan and Stew Webb came to their "US
Intel" radio show with inside information on some of the major players that
are about to be caught up in this scandal that is fast becoming known as
"hooker-gate."

According to Heneghan and Webb, this latest powder keg about to explode will
involve, not only prominent members of Congress, but also foreign
dignitaries such as British Prime Minister Tony Blair and high profile
members of the American media, such as Fox News.

Reports are that various hotels in Washington, DC were set up as
prostitution houses by convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff, Benjamin Netanyahu,
Marc Rich, the American/Israeli Political Action Committee (AIPAC) along
with British Minister Doug Alexander, to ensnare U.S. government officials
and media types, in sexual blackmail, some even involving children.

"Let's remind everybody, that the greatest use of blackmail, by these
lobbyist and control-box freaks, is sexual blackmail," said Heneghan. "It
has been used for years. The box media is scared to death of
'whorehouse-gate,' because at least half of the extortion friendly U.S.
media has frequented the whorehouses," he added.

"This has already been testified (before Special Prosecutor Patrick
Fitzgerald)," said Webb. "There is going to be a lot of indictments, and
from what I understand, there are somewhere between 40 and 250 Congressmen
and Senators that visited these whorehouses. Which means they are blackmail
able."

"We might as well just take the flag off the White House and off the U.S.
Capitol and hang a For Sale sign up there. Because that's what they are,
they are all for sale," speculated Webb.

"We have a lot of high level Generals and Colonels and Pentagon officials
involved with the whorehouses (too). It's all going to be breaking out real
soon," Webb promised.

Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham (R-California) is one member of Congress
that has already been charged with involvement with prostitutes as supplied
by CIA contractor Brent Wilkes, who Heneghan has reported has ties all the
way back to Iran/Contra. Wilkes remains an un-indicted co-conspirator in the
Cunningham investigation. Cunningham and Wilkes, in turn, are linked to the
#3 man at the CIA, executive director Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, who has just
announced his resignation from that agency.

"What this deals with is national security. Because these people that are
frequenting these whorehouses are selling out the united States of America.
And (this) is an extension of the Franklin grand jury investigation, which
the media fails to cover, because it (the American media) is Mossad riddled.
It is the espionage of the united States by the Israeli Mossad. The takeover
of our national security secrets. Patrick Fitzgerald, I can announce
tonight, has connected the dots," Heneghan detailed.

"William Frist (R-Tennessee) has been identified as one of the major
Senators that have frequented the homosexual side of the whorehouses. He is
best friends with Victor Ashe," said Heneghan. Numerous intelligence sources
have confirmed that Ashe, the current Ambassador to Poland, and George W.
Bush, have had an ongoing homosexual relationship for many years now.

"Frist was (seen) entering and exiting the whorehouse. It is strange to have
(this) guy entering that whorehouse in the Ritz-Carlton, that's where the
homosexual whorehouse is. The heterosexual side is the Watergate and the
Sheraton (hotels)," said Heneghan.

"New developments on these fronts continue to come out. Another individual
that frequented the whorehouses included on his visits to the U.S., (were)
the current U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair; Doug Alexander, the former
British Minister of E-Commerce; Mel Sembler, the former ambassador to
Italy," said Heneghan.

Blair, Alexander, Sembler and Abramoff have also been tied to the fraudulent
2000 Presidential election along with Congresswoman Katherine Harris
(D-Florida) through a company known as MZM, Inc.

"This MZM, Inc Defense contracting operation which is tied to Jack Abramoff
and Duke Cunningham...ties to the bribery of Katherine Harris and now this
Kyle "Dusty" Foggo. The cost overruns were then laundered out of the
Pentagon, the books were cooked, the money was washed back through Abramoff
and helped set up these whorehouses in Washington, DC to take care of the
people who are already bought off so that they would continue to do business
for them," detailed Heneghan.

Blair is already facing serious troubles back in his home country of
England. CBS News reported on Sunday evening that the Blair government is in
encountering tremendous opposition within its own Labour party, which was
beaten badly in recent elections in that country. There are now new calls
for Blair's immediate resignation, coming from within his own party, despite
the fact he is serving a lame duck term.

On Friday it was also announced that CIA Director Porter Goss had turned in
his resignation to Bush. Heneghan and Webb have reported that Goss is linked
to the not only to the Iran/Contra scandal during the Reagan administration,
but the 2000 election fraud and as it turns out, these prostitution houses
in Washington.

"Porter Goss, who I am told, is the chief pimp of the whorehouses, is a
homosexual himself," said Heneghan. "Yes, he is a killer (too). He robbed
the country in the biggest savings and loan fraud along with Neil Bush,
George W. Bush, Jeb Bush, George Herbert Walker Bush (and) Leonard Milman.
Ripping off savings and loans all across the country and he has got his
Swiss bank accounts stuffed with YOUR money," added Webb.

Even during the "Lou Dobbs Tonight" show on CNN for Friday, May 5, the sex
scandal was revealed by guest commentator and former Republican strategist,
Ed Rollins. Dobbs had a round table discussion and all members on the panel
hinted there was much, much more to come from the Goss resignation and
"hooker-gate."

"At the end of the day, the CIA is coming under the same scrutiny that these
guys that paid off Cunningham and others, what I call, 'hooker-gate' is
coming," said Rollins. "The #3 guy in the CIA (Foggo) was also involved in a
lot of these defense appropriations, what they call the 'black box' money,
which is about 40% of the money that is spent out of the defense budget that
goes to secret CIA/Defense appropriations. I think there is a bigger story
to come," Rollins implied.

The Republican led Congress is already reeling from near disastrous job
approval ratings that have plummeted to an almost record low of 25%. Bush's
poll numbers continue to hover around 32%, his lowest yet of his two terms.
But the real shocking numbers belong to Dick Cheney, who has sunk to the
depths of an 18% job approval rating. All those numbers are expected to go
even lower.

"It is getting even worse. Republicans now are starting to basically defect
from both the pResident and the Republicans. And you are starting to see
Conservatives moving away and that's when you really start seeing some
serious danger signs," said Rollins ominously.

"But the larger issue here to me is, this is a government THAT IS NOT
WORKING," added Dobbs. "The leadership from this White House, it is so clear
that the American people are frustrated and disappointed and, in some cases,
are frightened by the direction in which this country is headed!"

"No one views this pResident today as a leader," added Rollins.

The question that continues to be on the minds of Washington, DC insiders is
how much longer can the Bush government stay in power until they are swept
out of office by scandals, indictments, impeachment proceedings and an
overall disgust by the American people? It appears that time can now be
measured in months, if not weeks.

A scandal on the proportions of "hooker-gate" may well accelerate this
inevitable outcome exponentially. Perhaps when this latest scandal roars
through the mainstream media in full force, the American people will finally
be angry enough to demand for the immediate house cleaning of the entire
united States government.

Hope remains strong, however, during this great time of crisis, that
patriotic members of the U.S. military will now feel compelled to spring
into action and make a serious effort to rid the country of the criminal
elements that occupy government, as noted in the Tom Flocco article from May
5, 2006.

"In an ominous prediction, Heneghan said, 'It won't be long before the
un-compromised U.S. military may have to declare a State of Emergency and
re-implementation of the Constitution under a special provision of the Naval
Code, which would lead to the arrest and removal of the criminal government
residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue,'" Flocco reported.

"It's time the American people say we have had enough of this! We have had
enough of these slime ball, screwballs in Washington, DC," declared Webb.
"Washington, DC is so contaminated, I think what the American people need to
do is surround the place around the beltway and they need to put a chain
link fence around it and declare it to be a prison camp."

Dolphin8- Welcome to A2K, I do not know whether you are writing in jest but I do hope you are not a homophobe or personally against the principles laid out by NAMBLA.

I must inform you that some of our posters( Debra LAW is one of the best) have written stirring and highly scholarly defenses of homosexuality mainly based on the Equal Protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.

You don't have anything against the concept of "equal protection",do you?

You can't. It sounds so "wholesome" --so "American" so Christian!!
