Last nite I watched "Numbers" on CBS.

For several minutes, we beheld the spectacle of the FBI
catching the ATF redhanded, in robbing an armored car,
and using fully automatic rifles to murder the armored car guards.
( It was not made clear whether the ATF agents had licenses
to possess the fully automatic rifles, nor whether they were registered. )

There was a scene of quite a few minutes duration
of a firefight between the FBI against the ATF,
with both sides employing automatic rifles.

In the end, the FBI hero took cover behind a car,
while engaging an ATF agent behind another car.
He got under the car, and saw where the ATF agent was standing,
and opened up with his M-16, shotting the ATF agent in the feet.

The ATF agent didn 't seem to like it much,
and was rendered into a horizontal position, where he was arrested.

I just hope they all had licenses
and the automatic weapons were all properly registered.

I was reading a book the other day and people were fishing and all I could think of was -- did they really have a proper fishing license?

It really drove me crazy!!

I had to throw the book away because fishing without a fishing license is so insanely stupid.
