Thanks!!

Your a teacher arn't you? The artist I'm working with and for came up with this school program and has been working on it for 8 years. The website needs a lot of work and it doesn't do it justice but the concept is genious, I think.

Waves to Amigo..

Some of us have been following Banksy on A2k - I think there are at least two threads. I'll see if I can dredge up links.

Eek, I didn't mean to be all 'know-it-all'. Plus, I managed not to look up the links. Back in a bit.

When I did a search for Banksy topics, five came up.
One was a thread on graffiti but I didn't see his name in it on a quick review, and the other was a thread by Banksy on music videos. I have some doubt that was by the artist Banksy, but.. I dunno.

People are always saying that Los Angeles suffers from a lack of seasons. But I've recently heard the observation that at least the colors of graffiti tend to change with the seasons.

Yes, Amigo, I've been very active (in painting). As I've already announced with great pomp, I've got 30 paintings in a show this Friday.
I have tried out the Japanese form of calligraphy (sumei?). It was fun, but I sucked. I suspect the brush work mastery you'll gain in this (Chinese) practice will benefit your painting. Carry on.

I've done some Sumi.e too. Well, not the real way, I just looked at a book and tried to do it. I enjoyed it. Still have one hell of an ugly monkey I did... just a copy of a monkey in the book.

JL, so, it's this Friday, that's wonderful, I'm thrilled for you. Be sure to come back and tell us all about it, take photos at some point...

JL's work, or some of it, is on a thread Joanne Dorel started...

I couldn't find mine, Amigo. I think it's on a friend's website that doesn't let me in any more because I changed email addresses.
