OK, someone helped us out by watching Yaya last week. T had prepared an Easter giftbag, but I forgot to deliver it when I picked up Yaya.
Anyone have an idea for a replacement gift now that Easter is over? Small gift, complicated by the fact that this person currently has gestational diabetes. (So no chocolate or homemade cookies....)
I'd take the basket anyway, maybe with a card. It's never too late.
Well, that was my idea, too, but T put the kibosh on it.
Any way to redress the gift bag goodies?
She has gestational diabetes -- so she's expecting, right? Maybe something like a nice bath salts?
hmmmm.....unless she doesn't like to take baths.
when T. was expecting, what little things did she seem to appreciate?
If I were expecting, I'd like a backscratcher to reach the spots I can't
one of those scrubby things you use in the shower that long like a rope so you can get your back
Some really fancy shampoo and/or badywash to smell good.
since it's getting hot, one of those bandanas with beads in it that you soak in water then put around you neck and it keeps you cool for a while.
Yeah, anything spa-ish is what I'm leaning toward. At least, those were the gifts I got that I most appreciated at that time.
diamonds are always a good choice.
What about some sort of plant/ flowers? Pansies or something?
Spa stuff sounds good, especially if it's a range (some lotion, some bath salts, etc.)
What was in the easter gift bag?
Gift cards are made for just such situations.
