I'm currently working on a project about the Canaidan Inuit Inukshuk.
If anyone has any information on the Inukshuk I would greatfully appreciate if you shared it.
I've also posted a similar thread under the History section for history related information only.
Many thanks!!!!
The Arctic Circle has few natural landmarks and so the inuksuk was used to navigate. it litterally means "man substitute" it's kind of weird because the inuksuk-like inunguak looks far more man like. in fact, the inunguak is the symbol for the up coming vancouver olympics. it also points the way to villages, good hunting, and that sort of thing. the inunguak is what most people think of when they hear "inuksuk" even though they are two very different things. I hope i've helped. good luck on your project!
