Please tell me the artist...

I love the artist but I can not think of his name. He is American, post Impressionist and is usually bunched with Norman Rockwell and Grandma Moses. Nearly all of his work is of classical images, of pillars and ponds and faerie-like, androgynous Roman-Greek God-like figures. It is all luminous and dreamy with distinct pastel colors. My instinct tells me his name is a simple anglo-saxon type, like Morgan or Neuman. Please, all you artistic genius' out there; tell me his name. Thanks
