Hi,
I am a new member of this incredibly interesting group and have to admit that I find the variety of topics very interesting.
Being a crossword fanatic (Lovatts are truly the best on the market) I am hoping to be able to find occasional tricky answers to the Stinker puzzle. I also hope to be able to help others.
I am looking forward to regular visits to this site.

panzade, a bridge thread! Yes, I would be there. I have a cousin in Ireland who is champion player, and my brother is pretty darn good as well, though he doesn't play competitively. I can play, but need help for sure. Smile

Great idea panzade I play bridge, well only occasionally these days. But in years past I played torunaments and actually won Master's points.

Congrats I know you feel great.

Start the thread and I will be there.

This is the best forum I've ever found. Providence invited me, via Google! (haven't even set up a profile, yet)

Incidentally, your quote reminds me of a chant that little girls used to do in school, for cheering a playing team. This is when "can-cans" (wide & full petticoat slips) were the fashion to wear:

"Sittin' in the bandstand
Beatin' on our can-can's
Who can?
WE CAN,
Nobody else can...
Yay!"

Confused How do you post a reply to someone who isn't on top?

I didn't see a "Reply" button anywhere, so I clicked the "Quote". It was meant for someone in particular, but now I don't even see theirs. ???

If you want a private reply, use the pm button under their post...otherwise just put their name on your quick reply or post reply so that it will get their attention

How I got here
My partner, who carries CROW medicine, found your site and was so impressed with it she almost dragged me into our office and said, "You WILL sign up now!! Actually, it was she that kept reading so many posts, that I figured it may help me get some quiet by reading the postings myself. So, here I am at nearly three AM.

We live on an Ojbiwa reservation in NW Wisconsin, USA.

Here's most of my family, taken last year in UT. It was the wedding of our 18 year old Grand daughter.

I'm the old guy 4th from the end, grinning like a jackass eating briars.

Here she is, with 2 more grandchildren.

Ah, sure and the whiskey flowed like buttermilk.
