I don't have a sound card on my computer so perhaps you can tell me who she is and what she does!

Basically, how she can handle raising a child, running a home business and basic life skills.

How people treat her diffrent, some people wont accept money from her in fear of touching her feet Rolling Eyes and yet others are excited about what she CAN do..
She wont use prosthetic arms because they get in the way she says..

Very cool!

(This was posted here before at some point, wasn't it? I know I've seen it before, not sure if it was via A2K or something else.)

One of the things that I've enjoyed about working with people with disabilities is that there are so many of these stories -- lots of amazing people out there.

I agree.

and one of the things that really made me love this clip is that it wasnt made out to make you feel 'sorry' for the subject.

in fact, I thought this clip to be just the opposite.

it wasnt necessarily banking on what she cant do, it covered everything she could do and then some.

I have seen alot of coverage of people where you are left almost in tears of pity
In this story, it was ....( a bit of a corny thing to say but) it was more of tears of power.
I love that.
