The catch to sticking peanut butter to the apple slice is one of 2 ways

1) put the peanutbutter to the dry skin

or

2) lightly blot the apple/pear with a papertowel and then put your peanut butter on.

The juice of the fruit is what keeps it from sticking. Dry it a bit and stays on better.

Yesterday I saw purple ranch dressing at the store. The label said "For kids!" Shocked

I think squeeze ketchup was actually a good idea. And I have the squeeze mustard, too. The only good thing I can say is that it saves washing a knife. I suppose the same could be said of the squeeze peanut butter.

I'll try it Gen. Or maybe the squeezable will work as a dip. Got to try that too, when it shows up here.

Speaking of weird food, there's nothing stranger than what hits the shelves for movie promotions.

What's gross? Incredible Hulk Sour Apple Flavored Twizzlers

What's grosser than gross? Incredible Hulk Green Hershey's Syrup that 'tastes like chocolate'! Yep, can't wait to pour some green Hersheys Syrup that 'tastes like chocolate' over my ice cream!

ewwww......

I'm betting that no matter what container the peanut butter comes in the peanut butter knife--with considerable peanut butter attached--will be left on the kitchen counter.

Any theories about how too much 'fun' food (and media) might be contributing to record numbers of 'diagnosed' childhood ADD cases?

Chiming in here. The peanut butter and jelly combo was not called "Google", but you were close. It is still sold, the name is "Goober". You won't find any at our house - we like the natural PB (salted) and make most of our own jam.

As for squeezable products that are really useful, aside from the normal stuff, two come to mind. Anchovy paste and tomato paste.

<I always see this as "'Squeezable' Slappy." I mean, if you take the "<" off the "k" and move it over to the "i", what've you got?>

Sorry. Carry on.
