Growings and results of the Truth and Reality in the world...

When I first started reading this paragraph, I was kinda intriguedÂ…then I came across "and the spirit weakens on account of the body." This represents a seemingly never-ending tail chasing and a crusade against the absurd.

Creative power sprinkling the light of life on dense, lifeless, extinguished, dead objects with an astonishing activity is a sign that it dissolves, burns, and illuminates this dense world with the light of life on account of the subtle world. -

Is this poetry?

No matter how weak reality is, it does not die; it is not annihilated like a form. Rather, it travels in individuals and forms. Reality grows, develops, and gradually expands, while the shell and the form wear out, become finer, and break up. -

"How weak reality is"?

That is to say, the more substantial form grows, the weaker reality becomes. The less substantial form becomes, to that degree the reality grows stronger. -

What? !!!

This means that a time is certain to come when the Manifest World, which is the shell and form of the mighty reality of the universe, will break up, with the permission of the All-Glorious Creator. Then it will be renewed in a better form. The meaning of the verse: -

The person who wrote this collection of thoughts either has no idea what he/she is saying, isn't able to convey his/her ideas into individual, logical sentences, or has gone completely mad.

And by the way, KevnmoonÂ… thanks for the laughs.

If you are married then the answer is self evident Smile

The question that, more often than not, has much more significance, than the text that proceeded it.

What Americans might term "pompous" Brits might term "normal academic style".

Just a thought !

Ok, I have a question for anyone who would care to answer. Think about this before you answer though.

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

Meaning what kind of person are you? How do you view yourself?

Any takers?

Thats a deep question hephzibah.

"It" quite often "sees" the fragmentation of self in terms of competing personality traits. (Here's the pompous bit...."persona" = Greek actors mask).
A major realization is that if everybody is interested in "self" nobody is actually looking at "you" too closely !

I have long hair but the sides need a trim. My wife was going to do but she is mad at me for throwing out some empty jars. Nice eyes, great teeth, sharp looks! I just looked and that is what I saw.

I do have a purpose for asking this question. So come on fresco... just answer the question. If you dare.... Muuuhwaaahahaha! I'm really not looking for anything really deep. More just the basics. Like... confident, secure, loving, you know... whatever. We all have a basic make up of our personality, and how we view ourselves. However, I pity anyone who looks as deeply at themselves as I do... LOL

hephzibah,

I am not afraid of the question. At one level I tend to see "blemishes" due to aging. But then that "I" shifts to one that says "who the heck is looking at you anyway !".

It may simply be that the "self" is merely social construction..a cork tossed about on a sea of social interactions.

Sorry you wanted an answer in terms of loving, confident etc.....I can be all those things and their opposites.....depending on social circumstance.
There may be an "average" but there is no consistency.
