Thanks for the link JAO, I saved a few of the links for reading later.
I find the whole entire issue so shameful on so many levels. First for the administration in setting the stage for the abuses to flourish, the lack of real accountability for any of the highers ups, some of defenses of these abuses that I heard from A2kers and the lack on interest in general. I don't see how we as Americans can go around talking about human rights abuses with a straight face.
When you look at my earlier thread (some links, btw) and how many clicked here and there - ignorance really is great.
Walter, it's probably a lame defense, but I usually just come to the political section of A2k.
