You really are a nasty hag, aren't you?

You can't hope to counter foxfyre intellectually and so, as usual, you resort to venom.

I know, I have just stooped to your level, but when dealing with swine one is bound to get dirty.

Lockdown!

LOL my sad little man, calling me a hag, oh you really got me with that one, didn't you? Get help. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen, child.

Foxfyre absurdly threatens to close her business rather than pay her fair share of taxes (Actually it must be her huisband's fair share as she couldn't possibly be adding anything much to the business as she spends all her time here) and I call her on her bullshit and the sad liitle man from Dallas calls it venom.

I wonder why with all that intellectual superiority (whch, if true, would make her a genius which she clearly is) that she is consistently having her head handed to her by yours truly.

real life quoted the gutsy broad saying-

Quote:
'I can't be held responsible for every undercapitalized business out there,' she smugly replied.

And quite right too. That's a very stateswomanlike statement.

Foxfrye; generally sometime down the road claims some kind of personal important function or role or closely related person or knows people...in every single debate as though it gives her some kind of edge over the other person. It is just a given.

But moving on; you know for the most part I think some of these racial charges have a way of backfiring and the following might do the same. But I just wonder what people mean when they make comments like the following if they don't mean there is some kind of racial element added to this election with Obama being in it:

Quote:
"If she wins Pennsylvania by a hefty margin, she can prove she can win the traditional Democratic constituencies needed to win the election, mostly white working-class voters," said Gloria Borger, a CNN senior political analyst.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/04/22/pa.primary/index.html

Speaking of CNN; Tony Snow is joining it. ugh; I thought we had enough of that guy; but I guess there is no accounting for taste.

Yes Revel, when you have lived as long as I have you too will likely have quite a store of personal experience to inform you. And that experience is broadened if you are fortunate enough to have had as many vocations and avocations as I have been blessed to have and to have lived in as many different places as I have lived and have been privileged to travel as much as I have traveled and been privileged to meet as many really great people as I have met. Very few have been especially important or particularly famous, but all have informed my point of view of the world.

And if you are similarly blessed, somewhere along the line you might learn to understand that everybody isn't like you and you learn to appreciate that people have different experiences from your own and you become quite a bit less personally judgmental.

I pray for you to have similar blessings.

I ask for your forgiveness for using personal experience that I find useful to explain my point of view and suggest that you just pass over my posts to avoid such irritation in the future.

I must ask that you not denigrate Revel in that fashion. I don't do that and you shouldn't either.

Really Butrfly. I accept that is your opinion of me. But perhaps you could point out a specific statement or instance to support your opinion that is a bit more specific than you just can't stand me? (Which is pretty much Revel's position I suppose.)

You must of missed the quote from your post where I did just that, Foxfyre. And, it isn't that I can't stand you. I just don't have much respect for your politics.

You as a person, outside of politics are probably quite fun to be around.

Me too if you don't mind going to Ted Nugent concerts, spending at least a month every year in a tree stand or ground blind, and paving driveways in brass.

Oh I noticed the quote you cited as proof that I am a hypocrite. I asked you to support your opinion that it is a hypocritical statement as I think I try pretty hard not to make unsupported assumptions about people or criticize them for the way in which they choose to express a point of view. I will criticize what they specifically say and will generally have a pretty good reason for my criticism but I don't appreciate unprovoked ad hominem attacks on anybody and try very hard to avoid arguing ad hominem with anybody.

I don't require that anybody else agree with me or appreciate my politics, and yes I am quite often a lovable person and fun to be around. Thank you.

Cough! Cough! Back on topic now....

My brother, who lives in Pittsburgh, PA and has been a vociferous Hillary supporter (unbearable to even talk to...screamed if you said anything against her) just voted for Barack Obama!

WOW! He told me her campaign has just turned too destructive and he didn't want McCain to win. OMIGOD!

FWIW,
Obama will be at Roberts stadium in Evansville In tonite, starting at 7:30 central time.
He will be preceeded by a free John Mellencamp concert.
I will be going to hear Obama tonite and will let you know what I think of what he says tomorrow.

If anyone wants to hear what he says, it will be carried live here...http://www.14wfie.com/

I went and saw Hillary when she was here, and I hope to go see McCain when and if he comes to this area.
