Wow, O'Bill!

Blatham, nobody is saying that there won't be smears directed against Obama. That's certainly not something I need Bill to tell me.

The question is how to respond. One can be proactive -- not passive -- without engaging in personal vilification in turn.

As I was writing that sentence that sentence, I realized something else -- while Hillary has certainly been on the receiving end of personal vilification, has that been happening within the context of this primary race? Has she been getting it from her competitors in the primaries, hence the need to turn it back on them? What would she be responding to, exactly?

If they (Hillary, Bill and co.) do stay away from personal vilification of Obama, great. Bill certainly seemed to be preparing the ground for why he thinks it's necessary.

I observe your election from far away.

Does Obama's win show US is colorblind?http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080105/ap_po/a_black_president

That Bill O'Reilly. Wottan entertainer.

I like this part from your link:

Quote:
"We're sorry we had to have that little confrontation, but no one on this earth is going to block a shot on "The O'Reilly Factor." It is not going to happen," O'Reilly said.

Ugh, ugh, ugh. What a jerk! "no one on this earth blahblahblah"-- Rolling Eyes That guy just renders me speechless with annoyance every time I hear anything he says...That's what I really dread as the election gets closer; listening as the horrible Fox News-types really get going. *shudder*

No, it shows we are finally beginning to recognize and embrace all the good qualities, experiences and possibilities someone not a white male brings to the table.

In that last post of yours it wasn't your views that were the problem. It was the inability to comprehend the sentence you attempted to structure.

Maybe you could explain what you meant to say in that last post.

What does this mean?

and let the person regrets/repents for getting elected to be the successor of the compassionate comrade

From AP:

A pre-debate poll suggested McCain's momentum had carried him into a narrow lead over Romney in New Hampshire, and that Huckabee was in third place. It also suggested he had not yet profited from his victory in Iowa, but the results of an election in one state often take several days to show up in surveys in another state.

That's what I'd like to know! -- my husband likes to watch Fox for a laugh, and to watch steam come out of my ears. (sigh)

....on the topic of polls, mr cypher's been checking them all day and has reported that Obama and Clinton are tied, Obama is down by one, up by ten, and up by twelve... Laughing Kinda all over the place, but it sounds pretty exciting any way you slice it, at least!
