You could try google: Health Care Bill Sec 203 Page 95.
I refuse to do your homework for you, Ican. The text of the bill is readily available for you to access.

@cicerone imposter,
Lets be honest and admit that the left is just as guilty.
Or don't you remember when the left was saying that under Bush the elderly would be forced to eat dog food because they would have no money left after paying their bills.
Or when the left claimed that the repubs wanted social security to "wither away on the vine", even though that was never said by the repubs.
Both actions, and others by the left, were intended to scare people, and it worked.
So, why are you now complaining when the repjbs use the same dirty tactics that the demand used?

I wonder, what do you think of this, MM?

@H2O MAN,
There are death panels now and have been for some time. My grandmother was diagnosed with stomach cancer at 84. The doctors decided there was no point in operating on her.

I would suggest that cancer isn't really curable but that is another discussion for another thread that I would not participate in.

However, today's doctors are totally under the thumb of the insurance industry and that is where the real death panels are: those business majors who think they can tell MDs what to do.

@mysteryman,
If the left indeed say that the "elderly would be forced to eat dog food," I'm pretty sure many more do eat dog food since GW Bush's Great Recession. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if more middle class families who lost their jobs and homes are eating dog food.

What the repubs wanted was to privatize social security - just before the Great Recession ate up most of the middle class' investments and the value of their homes.

This is from Wiki:
Quote:
Former President George W. Bush called for a transition to a combination of a government-funded program and personal accounts ("individual accounts" or "private accounts") through partial privatization of the system.

Under dems people may have to eat dog food. Under repubs people may have to eat their dogs.

Is that because China will take over the US under the repubs and Americans will adapt to the culinary habits of their new overlords?

Regretfully, yes. Well, IAMS kibble for cats runs $8.00 for a four pound bag.

National debt increased 60% under Speaker Pelosi

Good riddance Speaker Pelosi

There are lots of reasons I will not miss Nancy Pelosi’s extreme left wing speakership. There’s Air Pelosi and radical legislation such Cap and Tax and ObamaCare. But the biggest reason to cheer the end of the ultra-Liberal/Progressive Pelosi Speakership is the national debt.

In the four years that Pelosi was Speaker the national debt increased an unbelievable 60%.

When the Pelosi Democrats took control of Congress on January 4, 2007, the national debt stood at $8,670,596,242,973.04 — that’s $8.67 trillion. Today, the last day of the 111th Congress and Pelosi’s Speakership, the national debt is $13,871,130,353,817.40 — that’s $13.87 trillion. A $5.2 trillion in just four years.

The Pelosi debt works out to $44,662 for every man, woman and child who make up the 310,574,015 U.S. populace.

And Liberals wonder why they are perceived as big spenders.
