That leaves the point about the later updates. Should MM have added an addendum that "Schlussel did accurately identify the shooter when that information became available"? Perhaps they should have. Perhaps they still will.

Schlussel sounds like quite the yuck. No acknowledgement, even, that her wild speculation had turned out unfounded; and of course, no reflection on what that might say about the worth of her speculation in the first place - but instead, how "lovely" indeed, just a dive headlong into the next kind of hatin'.
Never mind that the by now depressing history of school shootings hasnt seen any striking dominance by foreign students, and that the new link she now makes is thus even more bullshit than the previous one.
