Cicerone is kind of a cranky guy, but very likeable - he is interested in many things; has a lot of curiosity about things; and is considerate of others (except sometines here on A2K). I would be disappointed if he didn't disagree with my on many things.

I don't go there anymore because I find it tiresome to try to dent the complacency of those who may know something very well, but confuse that with knowing everything. For some the identification of the boundary of existence as either a singularity, or an endless regression of cause & effect/expansion & contraction;,or even an infinite manifold of quantum multiverses, may count as knowledge and understanding - but not for me.

I don't see what is neurotic about trying to reduce the effects on young people of the complacency of those who may know something very well, but confuse that with knowing everything. I could easily say that you are neurotically nervous about getting into the ring with them and that such delicacy can do no other than hand the future over to them.
