@cicerone imposter,
You are always free to post evidence of your opinions being right, versus ours, cicerone, but sadly we seldom see any. Instead it is your practice to make snide remarks about the character of conservatives here. And admit it, dyslexia simply made the stuff up, probably trying to be cute or funny as he habitually tries to do. How else could it be so far off the mark?

@okie,
okie, I have always welcomed you and ican to provide evidence that proves my opinions are wrong. Why haven't you provided me that (long) list; I'm waiting.

Don't you find it strange that so many on a2k question your opinions, and not so many of mine? The only person agreeing with you is ican. If that isn't hint enough for you to realize that most of your posts are without substance, you need to see a doctor to find out what's wrong with your perception about real life.

They might be able to figure out what kind of psychosis you suffer from.

Feeling swiftboated okie?

I think we can rely on those that were there with you like dys to tell us the truth about what you did. I bet dys was closer to you than some of those swift boaters were to Kerry.

@parados,
Was dys in Vietnam? If so, Dys, I am interested in where and what you did?

Hey Parados, I would guess those officers of other squadrons or boats were much more familiar to Kerry than Dys was to my tour in Vietnam. He needs to show some evidence that he knows what he is talking about in regard to Vietnam if he is going to make the claim, and so far I've seen none.

okie, First of all, you need to provide evidence that you were in the same vicinity as Kerry while he was in Nam during that famous period; you know - same battalion, same outfit, same fighting unit...by date and hour, please.

No I do not find it strange, because I think the vast majority of posters here are liberal, not conservative. And ican is not the only person to agree with me at all. If I did the research, I could find a few. Remember Foxfyre? She was a person of logic and common sense reason, and we agreed most of the time.

I think what rubs liberals the wrong way is anyone that is definite in their beliefs, not given to gray areas. Declaring what is right and wrong in a very confident way is scary to liberals. Remember how they have hated some of the most confident conservatives in our recent past, example Ronald Reagan. And take some of the conservative radio talk shows with definite and clear pronouncements of what is right and wrong with this country and political issues, like Limbaugh, who is more hated than him?

I was not at all in Kerry's outfit. I was never close to any Swift Boaters. I have never claimed that, ci, where did you get that idea? The point is that Kerry talked about all GI's, he made broad sweeping statements about the military in Vietnam when he testified before Congress. Have you not read anything about this? I suggest you become informed.

That's a virtual certainty, Okie, but that doesn't mean that anything those fellows said was accurate.

Did I post this already?

Quote:
Limbaugh joins other media in whitewashing Swift Boat Vets' falsehoods, claims "nobody has disproven anything they claimed"

SUMMARY: On his radio show, Limbaugh claimed that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth "were right on the money, and nobody has disproven anything they claimed in any of their ads, statements, written commentaries, or anything of the sort." In fact, most of the allegations the Swift Boat Veterans made about Sen. John Kerry's Vietnam War service during the 2004 presidential campaign have been thoroughly discredited, often by official military records, but also by the Swift Boat accusers themselves, who struggled to keep their stories straight.

dys, if you were in Vietnam, I am interested in what outfit, where, and what you did? I have never before met another vet that wasn't anxious to share the information, so how about it?

I don't particularly think making things up is very funny. You have a weird sense of humor if you do. I am inviting dys to put up or shut up, hows that? Give us the information of his vet status. And provide evidence of his statements about my tour in Vietnam, or provide an apology. Somehow I don't expect either because I doubt he has the honor to do it.
