@realjohnboy,
I thought that was true based upon what I heard occasionally and read briefly here and there. I don't know it to be entirely true, but I generally believed it due to personal observation during a trip through London and Denmark and talking to relatives there. Here is a link for you, rjb, and you can also do your own research. I do believe my statement is true, that Muslim populations are growing faster than that of other Europeans for example. In the quote below, I am also going to guess that much of the immigration in Europe was from Islamic countries into other countries. Correct me if I am wrong, with data.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Europe

"Don Melvin writes that, excluding Russia, Europe's Muslim population will double by 2020. He also says that almost 85% of Europe's total population growth in 2005 was due to immigration in general.[19][21] Omer Taspinar predicts that the Muslim population of Europe will nearly double by 2015, while the non-Muslim will shrink by 3.5%, due to the higher Muslim birth rate."

@djjd62,

Did John Kerry lie or did he "misspeak" when he claimed he was in Cambodia, when it was "burned into his memory"? LIE

Perhaps a wee bit of research might be in order.

Quote:

Kerry Pressing Swift Boat Case Long After Loss

John Kerry starts by showing the entry in a log he kept from 1969: "Feb 12: 0800 run to Cambodia."

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/28/washington/28kerry.html?_r=1

Quote:
Limbaugh joins other media in whitewashing Swift Boat Vets' falsehoods, claims "nobody has disproven anything they claimed"

SUMMARY: On his radio show, Limbaugh claimed that the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth "were right on the money, and nobody has disproven anything they claimed in any of their ads, statements, written commentaries, or anything of the sort." In fact, most of the allegations the Swift Boat Veterans made about Sen. John Kerry's Vietnam War service during the 2004 presidential campaign have been thoroughly discredited, often by official military records, but also by the Swift Boat accusers themselves, who struggled to keep their stories straight.

All I need to know about Kerry is found in his testimony to Congress in 1972. That was enough to tell me that without a doubt the man was a phony and a liar.

So, was my year's experience in Vietnam merely propaganda driven into my head that has provided enough evidence for me about what Kerry's testimony was before Congress in 1972? After all, Kerry was talking about me and many hundreds of thousands of vets like me when he testified before Congress. I believe I have earned the credibility and privilege of making a judgement of it.

By the way, the following website is kind of interesting and provides some statistics about the Vietnam War and the GIs that went over there, if you are interested in facts.

the only stress okie suffered was trying to find ice for his beer while visiting his favorite Saigon hooch, his definition of "in country" was the officers' mess. okie is a fraud.

No, I have not, and don't need to. My life has been successful since my military stint, happily married to the same woman for almost 40 years and successfully raising 2 fairly responsible and law abiding children. I have been responsible and reasonably successful as a husband, father, and grandfather, and quite thankful to be a citizen of this great country. Although I was in the infantry and spent a year as a "grunt," I was fortunate to see very little actual combat, almost none in fact. I am giving out more info than I ever have, but for the curious, in fact I never had to shoot anyone, for which I am grateful. The worst of it was sleeping in the rain at night and slogging through the tall grass and jungle during the day, in my opinion. I was drafted, started as a lowly Private E-1, and by the time I was discharged about 2 years later, I left as a Buck Sargeant E-5. I would classify myself as part of the 85% as stated in the following website:
http://www.vhfcn.org/stat.html
"85% of Vietnam Veterans made a successful transition to civilian life."

Okay, so you don't know what a search engine is. At least that explains why your posts are so facile.
