Come on y'all lefties ! Try to make rational rebuttals.

Barack Obama is a lying, thieving gangster, who is stealing our property, our liberty under the law, our Constitutional government, and our capitalist economy.

1. Barack Obama unlawfully takes private property from those persons and from those organizations who have lawfully earned it, and gives it to those persons and those organizations who have not lawfully earned it.

a. Unlawfully exercised the authority of his office to take private property for public use in violation of the Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution, which guarantees to the People that “private property shall not be taken for public use without just compensation,” and without “due process of law.”

b. Unlawfully interfered with the management of private companies for the purpose of achieving government control of them, in violation of the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.

c. Unlawfully interfered with the economic rights of the people by imposing unreasonable impairments in the fulfillmeny of their intended contractual obligations, and their ability to enter into such contracts,

d. Unlawfully attempting to change our fundamental economic system from one governed by the rule of law to one governed by presidential dictate..

2. Barack Obama signed an unconstitutional health care bill.

a. It is not based on any enumerated power of Congress, not even on a very expansive reading of the power to regulate interstate commerce.

b. It violates the Tenth Amendment by commandeering state governments.

3. Barack Obama violated his oath to defend the US Constitution by exercising powers forbidden by the Constitution:

a. He has used public money to purchase private companies.

b. He has illegally tried to use public money to create publicly owned companies.

c. He has embezzled public money allocated by Congress for rescuing distressed private financial institutions, and used it to purchase automobile manufacturing companies.

d. He has given our public money to finance foreign automobile companies.

e. He has given our public money to a foreign state to finance their state-run oil company while refusing to allow us to develop our own oil resources.

f. He has violated the balance of powers by appointing Czars with far reaching powers who are accountable to no one but himself.

g. He has as a matter of patronage stolen private industries from shareholders and given them to workers’ unions.

h. He has substantially benefitted his political financial supporters by giving public money to foreign industries.

i. He has arranged very large unscrupulous deals with private companies to exchange public money for his political advertising.

j. He has attempted to create a public industry, a health insurance company, that would compete with existing and similar private industries in open defiance of the consent of the people, and the letter and intent of the Constitution.

k. He has attempted to annual freedom of speech by setting up an illegal reporting system for recording the names of dissenters and by publicly attacking private citizens who oppose him.

l. He has counted illegal aliens as citizens to skew his standing with Congress.

4. Barack Obama unlawfully engaged in a conspiracy to suppress evidence of the true place of his birth, and has thereby violated the Constitutional provision that a President of the United States shall be a natural born citizen of the United States: Article II, Section 1, 5th paragraph.

One of our local papers ran an interview with Rachel Maddow several weeks ago in which she said that today's liberal position is where the Republican party was in the 1950s. According to Dr. Maddow, a Rhodes scholar with a doctorate in politics from Oxford, the rest of the nation drifted very far to the right. Ah, how long will it take some of the right-wing rabid conservatives here to scream that leftism is deviance? How long will it take some of the great unwashed to begin criticizing Oxford as a bastion of communism?

How mind numbingly stupid of Rachel Maddow. What an absolute idiot! Today's Democratic Party belongs to George Soros, the radical Leftist and Ultra Socialist. The whole country was more conservative in the 50's than now, and certainly the Republican Party was not liberal. Whoever thinks so must be on something, or is intentionally lying and spinning for their political goals. My guess is she is either stupid or a liar or both.

Read something intelligent, pom, instead of Maddow's garbage. If you really want to know what Republicans were like, don't read Maddow, go to the original source. I challenge you to actually read and absorb the fantastic Saturday Evening Post article I have posted by Dwight D. Eisenhower, titled "Why I am a Republican." He did not have a liberal bone in his body. It is my opinion that he would have considered Maddow a nutcase.

Your conscience is telling you to pay attention to the truth and reality, pom. Have the courage to face the truth. It is liberating and will free you from your liberal prison state of unreality that you are currently living under.

@okie,
Congratulations! You fulfilled my prophecy!

Well, let's see, on the side, I am reading Hamlet for a project in which I am engaged. i am also reading Spenser's The Faerie Queen but, like many works of that era, it is not something one slogs through without relief. I will read the rest of Shakespeare.

I am teaching two rounds of intermediate writing in the fall and will use the same text I used for the last two semesters but I will "audition" another book to replace the one I have been using as I believe teachers should switch texts. I am also reading the texts I selected for my single section of 101.

A member of this forum sent a book to me, a contemporary novel, and I will read that as soon as finals are over next week. I was wait-listed for an NEH grant. If I receive it, I will immerse myself in the Transcendentalists for a week of sheer pleasure. I have always loved the Transcendentalists.

Does that agree with you?

But I have always been a well-read person and I had a classical education, for many reasons.

@parados,
If you could ever provide one iota of evidence that I have misinterpreted it, it might be different, parados. When I first came onto this forum, you were the same guy that claimed against all evidence that Clinton was not offered OBL by the Sudan, and you remain just as partisan, lawyerly, and wrong as you were on that point. If you used common sense instead of defending the Demcrats no matter the facts, it would help people respect your opinions, paradox.

Have you ever read the article I posted on "Why I am a Republican - By Dwight D. Eisenhower". If you love the things you say you love, you will love conservatism and you will hate liberalism. Try reading the article, teeny.

An Arizona ResistNet team member went to a town hall meeting with Arizona Sen. John Kyl and captured on video Kyl's discussion of his closed-door meeting with President Obama.

In that meeting, according to Kyl, Obama admitted that the Left is using the open borders crisis as leverage to force conservatives to support amnesty. Here's what Kyl said:

"I met with the President in the Oval Office,
just the two of us". The President said, 'The
problem is - if we secure the border, then
you-all won't have any reason to support
comprehensive immigration reform.' In other
words, they are holding it hostage."

Go here to watch the video:

http://www.grassfire.net/r.asp?U=29065&CID=132&RID=24984408

This video has made national news, been featured by Rush Limbaugh and is so damaging that the White House has already issued a denial. But in typical Obama fashion, even the denial linked border security to "comprehensive"
reform (i.e. amnesty).

Sen. Kyl is standing by his account, which confirms that the current crisis of illegal immigration and the attacks against Arizona are all part of the amnesty agenda.

Obama and the Left want a border crisis as
leverage to force the nation to the amnesty
bargaining table!

@Cycloptichorn,
We don't even know yet what the impact of Obamacare is going to have. I can tell you one thing, if it screws up my excellent medical insurance as I have worked hard to maintain throughout my life and what I have at this present time, I am going to be one very mad citizen, and I probably won't be the only one.

@okie,
LOL..

Yeah. IF only I made up facts like you did then I would have "common sense" you could agree with.

An investigation by a GOP congress found no evidence that Clinton was offered OBL but you continue to claim there is "all evidence" that this occurred. In reality, the only thing you have is one person's account and a scratchy recording of Clinton that you want to assign meaning to that isn't there.
