@ican711nm,
H20, Mysteryman, Ikon and any others who can't see the forest for the trees; you don't GET yourselves, do you? Prejudice is taught at home first, then your presumably friends of your race only, a closed and narrowminded attitude against anyone not like you and feared loss of entitlement, cause the 3 of you to continually make the statements that you do.

Our country will never "get it together" because of these narrow minded attitudes that only people like you, know what ails this country and what will cure it. Good Luck!

teeny, you know, your accusations of prejudice is wearing way too thin. You make accusations with absolutely no evidence whatsoever. It appears to me that if anyone is prejudiced here, you are showing far more evidence of being guilty than anyone else.

Playing the race card to simply win an argument is just not honest, teeny.

In fact, I would gladly like to see Obama replaced right now with one Michael Steele, or any one of a number of other black patriots. They would be infinitely better than the Marxist we have in there now.

Unless you are a Marxist, teeny, I would advise you to rethink your support of Obama and throwing out accusations of racism against anyone that opposes his politics. I have decided to pull off the gloves here and state the truth, the whole truth, and Obama is not an American in the tradition of what an American is, that is the belief in freedom, private property rights, liberty, and the responsibility of us, the citizens, instead of the State. The State is the alter that Obama worships at, and it is in direct conflict with we the people. You need to wake up, teeny, unless you want to continue to see everybody's rights trampled, simply because you have some kind of emotional attachment to Obama. It needs to be more than that, you need to dig deep and decide do you really want what he wants, which is a powerful State with he the dictator wannabe calling the shots.

@H2O MAN,
Define American, PLEASE! No, define Patriot, also. Are Americans and Patriots, white only? That's what the signs used to read in ALL Southern cities until 1960. If you weren't alive then, please STFU!

Senate Democrats broke new ground this week by slipping earmarks and sweetheart deals into the 2,700-page health care in the middle of the night. On Saturday, while Americans were busy wrapping presents or clearing snow from their driveways, Majority Leader Harry Reid released the newest version of his health care reform bill and forced a key procedural vote on the bill after midnight on Sunday.

Sen. Reid’s new bill, cooked up behind closed doors without any Republican input, now includes special deals and earmarks for interest groups and Senators who were previously withholding their support. Thanks to these sweetheart deals, Texans will be left holding the bag when it comes to paying higher taxes under the bill.

A few of these sweetheart deals and earmarks were outlined yesterday by Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank:
• The Louisiana Purchase: $100 million in extra Medicaid money for the Bayou State.
• The Cornhusker Kickback: $100 million in extra Medicaid money for Nebraska.
• U Con: $100 million for a medical center in Connecticut.
• Gator Aid: A grandfather clause that would protect only senior citizens living in Florida from the deep cuts the bill imposes on Medicare Advantage.
• Handout Montana: Medicare coverage for anybody exposed to asbestos -- as long as they worked in a mine in Libby, Montana.
• Iowa Pork and Omaha Prime Cuts: Additional Medicare money for low-volume hospitals of the sort commonly found in Iowa, while Nebraska won a "carve out" provision that would reduce fees for Mutual of Omaha and other Nebraska insurers.

My staff and I have been investigating these maneuvers and have discovered that these sweetheart deals directly violate the ethics rules of the U.S. Senate. I raised this and demanded answers today on the Senate floor. Senate Rule #44 requires bill sponsors to publically disclose earmarks. Therefore, Sen. Reid should provide a list of the earmarks and who requested each one. Unfortunately, Sen. Reid has so far refused to do so. I raised a Point of Order on the Senate floor today about this violation of Senate rules.
President Obama’s chief strategist and “agent of change,” David Axelrod, claimed that these sweetheart deals are "the way it will always be." So much for “change.” Maybe that’s the way it “will always be” in Chicago, but not in my state, and not in the heartland.
This year for Christmas, Sen. Reid and Senate Democrats appear determined to give the American people higher taxes and increased health care premiums. It’s a shame the Obama Administration’s promises of increased transparency and lower costs for the consumer were collateral damage in their quest for a quick legislative victory before the New Year"and before the State of the Union address, so the President can move one step closer to a full government takeover of our health care system. I know I speak for the majority of Americans when I say we would much rather have coal under the tree this year.

Teeny, you need to STFU.......what do the signs say NOW in 2009? I'm sorry for the past, but I wasn't even born until 1979. What the hell can I or anyone today DO about the past?

WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH? WHAT DO YOU WANT ME, SPECIFICALLY, TO DO?

I doubt your assertion, but I did not live in a southern city, but regardless, this is now 2009. Define patriot, it means people that are not Marxists, that still believe in freedom, liberty, capitalism, individual rights and responsibilities. That does not include Obama, and some crooks in Congress like Harry Reid, Pelosi, Charlie Rangle, and most of the Democratic Party for that matter, but it does include some great black patriots, such as Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele, J.C. Watts, Thomas Sowell, and countless tens of millions of other unnamed individuals, both black and white, as well as Asian and other heritages.

Quote:
Cuba’s foreign minister called President Barack Obama an “imperial and arrogant liar" for his conduct at the U.N. climate conference, a reflection of the communist island’s increasingly fiery verbal attacks on the U.S. government.
Bruno Rodriguez spent an hour and a half lambasting Obama’s behavior in Copenhagen, telling a news conference, “at this summit, there was only imperial, arrogant Obama, who does not listen, who imposes his positions and even threatens developing countries.”

He called the summit “a fallacy, a farce” and said Washington "used back-room deals and strong-arm tactics to foist on the world a deal" that he labeled “undemocratic” and “suicidal” because it urges " but does not require " major polluters to make deeper emissions cuts.

Rodriguez also said Cuba and other poor nations have refused to recognize the agreement because they weren’t permitted to participate in its development.

@teenyboone,
YOU are the person that described ALL conservatives as "pro-segregation, racist, full of hate for anyone like them, etc".

If you would like, I will be glad to use your own quotes against you.

I will ask you again to show ANY racist statements I have ever made.
You will not find any.

You have made statements about me, about what I believe.
You have called me a racist, you have called me pro- segregation, you have said I hate anyone not like me, etc.

Obama thieving coveters are incapable of providing valid evidence to support their accusations against today's conservatives and anyone else with whom they disagree.
