obvious to me is that the kid set fire to her house, and is happy about it, it is time for the kid to burn down her house. Considering that we have completely fucked over our kids and grand kids that makes sense. But what is the obama sign about? The parents are supporters of Obama, they have put the sign out, but how does that matter? The kid is justified for lighting the match based upon what the adults have done to her, what the adults claim to believe in is irrelevant.

Plus every kid smarter than a rock learns that adults do not generally believe in what they say they believe in.

I think one would have to admit that he's done more than his fair share, but every Republican since Reagan has done the same. Clinton was the only President in my lifetime that I think has actually left the country better than it was when he started.

Obama pisses me off more than the others though. I expect republicans to take our country along a path I don't believe in, I didn't expect that from Obama. Hopefully there will either be a positive change from the last 11 months, or there will be a challenger in the Democratic primary in 2011.

This partisan Democrat health bill will raise taxes on the people Obama promised not to raise
taxes on and it looks like it will actually raise the total number of un-insured people in America.

I believe the Democrat party committed political suicide early this morning.

@Advocate,
You responded:

It is too bad that you (admittedly) have a closed mind.

Where did I EVER admit to having a closed mind? I am very OPEN-minded and it is apparent as a person of color, with personal experience growing up in the segregated South and the inability of some, emphasis on SOME, okay?
People of European pursuasion, who have been indoctrinated to see me and other persons of color as not being REAL Americans, patriotic, caring parents, coming from 2-parent homes where one or more adults WORK, own a home, have a firm belief in God or whomever they choose to worship, marry, etc. YOU are firm in your beliefs, so don't tell me, what I should feel!

YOU:
Wiki is right, the defense alleged this and alleged that. However, it should have been clear to any intelligent person that the allegations were baloney. I remember Cochran alleging that the Detective Furman had a syringe, containing OJ's blood, used to place the blood here and there. Cochran never explained how Furman got OJ's blood, much less the blood of the two victims.

ME:
One of the detectives had a sample of OJ's blood that instead of sending it to a lab to test for DNA, carried it around in his pocket and while OJ was in custody, "planted" same blood on socks on the bedroom floor, on the steering wheel, as attested by a medical specialist of Asian origin and the prosecution, wasn't aware of it, until the doctor testified. California policemen are notoriously prejudiced against Mexican/African and Native Americans living in California, shoot first, question later, etc. Notoriously prejudiced!

BTW, I have a bridge I would like to sell to you.

ME:
Oh really?
That's DITTO for me and before you post, please back it up with FACTS as I did. You tend to "shoot from the lip" making assumptions, based on your own bigotry, taught to you, since you've shown no evidence, that you have friends or relatives of other races or even associates you encounter. It's all black and white for you. Have you ever lunched voluntarily with another race? Visited their homes? Sent a get-well or thank you card? Called concerned about any of the above mentioned races?

This is America, where the Constitution is supposed to guarantee ALL of its' citizens with certain rights, 3 being, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
If all of this is true, why were Africans held as Slaves against their will? Why were Catholics discriminated against? I once had an Irish supervisor, a former nun, who left the convent to support a sick mother tell me, that at the company we worked for, had signs that said, "Catholics and Jews, need not apply".

I still feel the comfort of her arms around my shoulders, when I complained about an incident, about a comment made to me, derogatory to my race, which under the guidelines of our handbook, I felt obliged to report. In other words, she felt my pain and hurt, that in that particular decade, the 80's, it wasn't a faux pas on the offenders part; it was the way they were taught to see people of color from centuries of being "entitled", to express themselves in that manner.

The trial against OJ Simpson, was a public "lynching" by the police who were convinced that he was guilty, had no real proof, so his blood sample had to be "planted", to clinch a guilty verdict.

Tiny, have you been drinking?
Why are you talking about the violent overthrow of this government?

This republic has been in trouble for years and Obama's Democrat party is
hell bent on driving this country right off the precipice they have lead us to.

This Constitutional Republic is in trouble - what will you do to save it?

i advocate the revolution and the over throw of the government after every election, even when i agree with them, folks shouldn't get complacent, a few heads on poles outside the houses of government would be a good warning to the others

I think most of the credit should go to the Republican Congress. Also, Clinton reaped the benefits of spending less on the military and an economy that was cycling up, even though he falsely claimed that it was the worst economy since the Great Depression simply for the purpose of trying to get elected, which he was able to because of a media that did not report his misrepresentations and lies, and he was also able to get elected because of Ross Perot that ran because he had an old grudge against the Bushes. But think about it, maporsche, because Clinton was asleep at the switch most of his time in office, taken up with other stuff, he dropped the ball in several areas, one being terrorists, not taking OBL when he had the chance, which may have led to 9/11 and the subsequent spending necessary to reign in a terrorist problem that had been allowed to become out of control. This is the largely unreported legacy of Clinton, that he was not doing his job, he was AWOL in regard to national security.

@teenyboone,
Teeny,
I have to agree that while you may not be close minded, you do see everything thru a very myopic view.

You have accused every conservative of being racist, pro-segregation, etc. with no proof and no evidence to support it.

Yet when challenged on it, you ignore the challenge.
Why is that?

The Obama thieving coveters--their government pretend health care--are making progress in destroying America's culture and economy. They treat the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the USA, and the rule of law as obsolete ideas. I guess that means that those opposed to the Obama thieving coveters are also free to ignore the rule of law. Right? Tea Party people, pay attention!

@teenyboone,
You said that no one will change your mind about OJ's innocence. Thus, you have a closed mind.

No blood was taken from OJ or the victims until well after the time Furman was supposed to have sprayed the blood around. Further, there was no reason to frame OJ, as he was a very good friend of the police.

What do you make of the slow car chase just after the murders when OJ was carrying $10,000 cash, a false beard, and a gun? Would an innocent person engage in this?

I have gone to lunch with black friends, and entertained black friends in my home. There was no reciprocation. However, without provocation, I was assaulted three times by blacks, twice on the streets and once on a subway platform. It seems that blacks do not let any opportunity pass to gain the dislike of other people.

I don't understand.

That much is obvious.

But a growing number of people are beginning to understand, Rasmussen has Obama's Strongly approve / disapprove index now at an all time low, Minus 21. As more and more people realize we have a president with Marxist beliefs and a dictator wannabe, it should go alot lower. It all depends upon the collective character of the country, if they want their country destroyed, or do they want to salvage it and vote the rascals out next election, and then the next election after that, and return some sanity back to Washington, and our rights back to us.
