That's a mealy-mouthed assertion based on ci's need to be popular and patriotic and his definition of "survived". It's as bad as believing in the Dead Sea scrolls.

@Advocate,
I'll stop converting your lines from falsities to truths when you stop posting falsities. Furthermore, converting your lines from a false gig of the private sector to a true gig of the government is rectification.

hopefully it'll look something like this

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

@spendius,
No, spendi, it's just a commonly known fact that the US has had the longest running democratic republic in modern times - continuous for over 200-years. Maybe, except for the rein of King Bush and his merry men.

In other words, Obama is the Marxist sympathizer. Any government that attempts central planning on a big scale is in for tough times, and unfortunately the voters failed to see that fact and make the necessary character judgement to avert this disaster.

Note to some liberals, it was not the Marx brothers, but Karl that Obama is a sympathizer of. Drunk

Another note to certain individuals, comparing Karl to the Marx brothers is not funny, not even close, so don't waste your time posting it.

Here is some more "change" from the White House.

Now it is OK for executive branch staff to NOT testify before congress.

Quote:
Earlier Wednesday at his regular briefing with reporters, Mr. Obama’s press secretary, Robert Gibbs, said Ms. Rogers would not testify. “I think you know that, based on separation of powers, staff here don’t go to testify in front of Congress,’’ he said. “She won’t " she will not be testifying in front of Congress.’’

So, since there is that "separation of powers", why did the dems raise hell when people in the Bush WH refused to testify?

Here is the article...

Heres another one that baffles me.

Obama goes to Alaska, makes a speech praising 2 fighter squadrons, but demands that the plane they are flying be moved and an older, almost antique plane be substituted.

That was done simply because he had opposed the planes being built when he was a Senator.

http://thecable.foreignpolicy.com/posts/2009/12/02/exclusive_white_house_aides_insisted_f_22_be_removed_from_obama_speech_venue

Quote:
When President Obama spoke to troops at Alaska's Elmendorf Air Force Base last month, the unit there parked a shiny new F-22 fighter plane in the hangar. But according to multiple sources, White House aides demanded the plane be changed to an older F-15 fighter because they didn't want Obama speaking in front of the F-22, a controversial program he fought hard to end.

Quote:
The official pointed to Obama's speech to the troops that day, where he praised both the 90th Fighter Squadron, known as the "Dicemen," and the 525th Fighter Squadron, the "Bulldogs," both of which operate the F-22.

You are so full of hatred. Turning down a chance to be a banker will be something you will live to regret.

Everyone knows the Marx brothers included their beloved brother, Karl. And no, the connection between the brothers is not funny, I agree. It's was some serious business for Karl to write the Communist Manifesto while being in the movies full-time. And he did it all while commuting back and forth from Germany to Hollywood.

Gala love-- you ought to know better than to interfere in a dispute between two men the nature of which you don't understand.

Have you no dusting to do? I'll bet my boots that ci. has his wife doing the dusting whilst he sits in the chair pontificating about the equality of women and sipping tea which has had exactly the amount of sugar and milk put in it for his taste.
