I am a conservative, I believe in the constitution, which is in individual rights and responsibilities for all citizens, and I am dead set against extreme socialism or marxism, which I think the extreme leftists in this country have affections for.
Forget conservatism, you believe in the Constitution? I thought it guaranteed rights for ALL of its' citizens, including President Obama and Reverend Wright who DON'T share your ideology. Different strokes! Funny, the "tea-party" people demonstrate, mock a respected and elected person of the Black Community, then whine about anybody touching their "medicare"! HAH! A government run, government paid medical program for seniors and the disabled, but don't want it for the rest of the citizens who don't have any medical insurance.
Is the Constitution a far-left document? It guarantees rights for ALL! Socialism? I don't think so. You seem to think socialism is running government programs for all. Is education socialism? Is having good health for all, socialism? Is having the ability to work, socialism? Was the draft socialist? Israel has a compulsory public service or military program. Is Israel a socialist country? I thought it was patriotic to serve one's country as national defense. Is that why Bush sent the National Guard instead of the regular Army? Bush was a$$-backwards anyway! Is supporting our troops a socialist concept? You make the call!
