Big government does not work!

@Bi-Polar Bear,

GW did his constitutional duty and protected this country and it's citizens.
The prevention of any additional terrorist attacks on out homeland combined
with GWOT is costly, but you will take the trade-offs O boy is going to deliver.

I hope you live in the next city that gets attacked as soon as O boy relaxes our defense posture.

So from the founding of this country till 2001, the govt spent less money then Bush has?

I suppose you have some documentation to back that claim up.

@JLNobody,
A nicer word for the Rep rank and file is "dupes." For instance, they actually bought in when Bush gave trillions in tax cuts to billionaires and almost billionaires.

So yeah, although it's sure to happen "on Obama's watch", it'll be a little hard to blame him for it (though I have no doubt they will try).

So what you are saying is that Obama will NOT be responsible for whatever happens.

Sorry, that doesnt wash.
The minute he is sworn in, he is responsible for EVERYTHING that happens while he is President.
No matter what that is.
So, if the economy tanks, it will be his fault and nobody elses.

BTW, I am simply repeating the same argument the left used to blame Bush for 9/11, since it happened on his watch.
We all know the planning and rehearsals happened under Clintons admin, but the left blamed Bush because he was the President at the time.

So, the same rules apply to Obama.

@mysteryman,
Most people do not claim Bush could have prevented 9/11, what most claim and has been proven is that they did ignore the Bin Laden situation right up to the time of the attacks.

If Obama ignores issues or intelligence, then yes, it is time to blame Obama even if it is just a few months or weeks in.

@revel,

O boy's plan to make big government even bigger is the wrong change for this country.
O boy will spend more than any administration in American history and his changes will force this country into a deep recession.
At some point, we the people of these United States will need to rise up and take our country back from O boy and his oppressive government of change.

@revel,
What can anyone possibly blame Obama for? He hasn't been installed yet, while Bush is leaving Obama with the biggest deficit ever and a legacy of cruelty and outright treason committed in our names!

Did you listen to him speak yesterday?

We can blame him for fear mongering.
He is blowing the situation way, way out of proportion in an
effort to quickly increase spending and expand government
well beyond what any previous administration ever has.
