Yeah, and so is Vietnam and Iraq worlds apart, and how long have the Dems been using that false analogy since 2003?

Please explain it to us "Dems" (I'm not a Dem) have been using Vietnam and Iraq's "false analogy since 2003?" You made the statement, now back it up.

I have heard it many many times, that should be an obvious observation, ci. I am not going to waste time researching specific quotes, but I am certain the analogy has been used by the Dems, although not so much very recently because they recognize the analogy is looking less and less believable.

I shouldn't have to back up the sun came up this morning, that is an obvious observation that even you should accept without me researching the evidence, the same with the Vietnam analogy. By the way, Bush referenced Vietnam because he wanted to make a distinction between what happened in Vietnam and what should happen when we wage war anywhere.

Cycloptichorn

I haven't read every remark by H2OMAN, but this I know, I have been called a bigot more than once by Bill, and as a result I think his opinions are not worth considering anymore. I don't know what his particular problem is, but every time he posts, it has a good chance of being something along those lines.
Wtf is wrong with you Okie? Did you even read what you quoted before assuming your racist buddy was innocent? By covering for him (out of ignorance), you are thereby condoning his pathetic strategy. Try to show a little integrity. Hell, even Foxy eventually acknowledged it; and she is the living embodiment of righty partisan loyalty.

Then look at what the pathetic moron offers by way of counterargument. Rolling Eyes (As if a grade school jab accomplishes anything beyond making him look even more foolish.)(No small feat, that.)

You will have to come up with a better example than the following that you responded to as racist talk, Bill:

Quote:
Do you think Obama has had any hardball questions asked of him?

The answer is NO.

Obama has only been asked softball questions one would expect from BET.

As I said, I don't vouch for everything H2OMAN has ever said. I certainly would not use the raw language that he does, probably his abrupt shock method of talking, but that is not the same as racist. If you have a prime example of racist talk, I would be obliged to acknowledge it, but absent that, suffice it to say your constant finger pointing and bigotry racist accusations are tiresome, and totally false in at least some of the cases. I think you need to back off and temper your accusations with a bit more reality. Not everyone that you disagree with are racists or bigots. I have to wonder how your mind works when you are so obsessed with bigotry and racism?
You never tire of looking like an idiot, do you? I already pointed out that that the founder of BET actually attacked Obama more harshly than the other networks, so the moron (H2Oman) was clearly using no coherent basis whatsoever in describing the questions Obama receives in that light. What say you is the innocent reason to bring up the BET, beyond race, when the truth travels 180 Degrees from the point he was trying to make? This isn't complicated Okie: He introduced race via BET, while demonstrating his utter ignorance of their actual relationship.

I covered your "everyone who disagrees" diatribe in considerable detail earlier, but common sense made you ignore the facts on that as well, for fear your favorite dodge would be more thoroughly exposed.

Stop considering every one of the Water-Bigot's statements in a vacuum and even you should be able to establish a pattern.

Take note again that none of the Right's heavy hitters ( you know, guys with brains like Asherman, Finn, George, Tico, etc) are showing up to defend the Water-Bigot's mindless idiocy. What does that tell you? It should tell you that he's as guilty as he is childish and ignorant.

And by the way: You aren't seriously touting the ongoing humanitarian disaster taking place on the Korean Peninsula as an example of a job well done, are you? Shocked

To be fair, that isnt the fault of any US President.
That is totally the fault of the North Korean govt and its unwillingness to do what it takes to provide for its people.
The govt there is repressive, totalitarian, and inhuman.
You cant blame that on any US President.

I reasonably disagree. Kim Jr. is certainly the monster responsible, but that in itself doesn't excuse the rest of the world's collective apathy towards the plight of the North Koreans. Clinton (with the unauthorized help of former President Carter) played a meaningful role in prolonging the humanitarian disaster; and Bush has done no better.

As a proud believer in the promotion of Iraqi freedom; it surprises me that you wouldn't agree.

I didnt say I dont agree.
I do think the world needs to do more.
But if the NK govt refuses to allow outsiders to help, or if the NK govt refuses to allow foreign aid to go to its citizens, that isnt the fault of any US admin or of any political party.
It is totally the fault of the NK govt.

Kicky - You're better than this. Kevin already has shown his true colors, you don't need to help. The point has been made: He's a disgusting racist jerk. Kevin doesn't have the racist ideals of a clan member, he has the far more dangerous ideals. He thinks he's not racist, that's the difference.

H20 - You're not.

Forced to agree.

Okie,

Quote:

From NBC's Mark Murray
Here's one result from the new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll that will be released tonight at 6:30 pm ET on Nightly News and MSNBC.com... With the news that Iraq's prime minister wants the US to set a timetable for withdrawal, 60% of registered voters believe it's a good idea for the US to set such a timetable, while 30% say it's a bad idea.

2/3rds of Americans support Obama's plan for a withdrawal timetable.

Not true. I've known Foxy to be a caring and compassionate lady when not operating from within the incredibly restrictive chains of hyper partisanship. And to her credit; she did eventually figure out the truth about the Water-Bigot.

Yes, McG, that was a little mean spiritedÂ… but it was such a wide opening! (Tough to resist, those)
