He did?

<scratches head>

The amazing thing is: I find myself quite often on Bush's side, recently.

For example, when he announced, in the SOTU speech, to promote the development of cleaner, cheaper, and more reliable alternative energy sources, to invest in zero-emission coal-fired plants, revolutionary solar and wind technologies, and to increase clean-energy research.

Or when he said

Quote:
We hear claims that immigrants are somehow bad for the economy - even though this economy could not function without them. All these are forms of economic retreat, and they lead in the same direction - toward a stagnant and second-rate economy.

Or in the current debate re allowing the UAE to invest in American ports.

And now this! I'm shocked.

True.

Well, at least I get to point to the SOTU speech and say, look what he promised and didn't do!

Confused

Sounds like a probable violation of the separation of church and state.
