You're right. And the maps I posted above are a liberal conspiracy.

Anything to avoid admitting the truth!

The fact that Michigan votes democrat is because of the dramatic influx from the south during the industrial revolution. These freeloaders still dominate Detroit politics - look at the mayor - he's a fine example.

Illinois much the same with Chicago dominating the vote. Minnesota the same with Minneapolis/St.Paul.

Can someone explain Wisconsin to me? They must be spiking the cheese up there or something.

I'm not buring my head - I'm trying to change this crap and get things corrected.

From what I've seen from you to date, cj, you'd do well to leave these things to those who are a wee bit less racist and those who carry a full complement of bricks.

Why did you choose Michigan over, say, Hayden Lake, Idaho?

JTT, political correctness is your forte, not mine. In fact, I think it's gay.

Why is it racist to point out stupidity and laziness?

As I've said before, when you play the race card, you lose the argument.

This is another one of those threads that should have been pulled long ago by the mods here at A2K.

It basically calls anybody who isn't a leftist a racist.

So there.

CJHSA didn't read beyond the article headline, I see..

You have may have said it before but it wasn't true then and it isn't true now.

The methodology of the Nosek study hasn't been published yet, but right away I am suspect.

Why would you be suspect about something that is so obvious? All you have to do is open your eyes. You don't need a study.

Oh yes it is. The title of the thread says it all. This should have been pulled a long time ago.

Could you possibly come up with a more childish response? How absurd is it to say race is not relevant when the issue is racism?

This is retarded for one reason: poor, black people generally don't vote. These "freeloaders" you're talking about account for a large chunk of the population but only a fraction of the vote. Whatever politicians are doing in these states, it has little to do with catering to "freeloaders."

First of all, despite what Liberals would have us believe, racism is not the most horrendous of human sins.

Yes, it's a very nasty way of thinking, but it doesn't supersede rape, murder, child pornography, and bear-baiting as the most foul of human inclinations.

Secondly, studies which have a pre-determined result are worse than useless, and this was one of them.

Thirdly, how does an august body of social scientist measure the degree of racism incompassed in efforts that are, ostensibly, designed to help minorities?

The premise of this thread, like the underlying study, is so much dreck.

W hat is dreck is denying what everyone already knows that the party in the US that represents the racist POV is the Republican Party. No one needs a study to see that. From Reagan's Welfare Queen to Willie Horton to New Orleans, to cutting social programs to give tax cuts to the rich, the Republican Party is the party of the racist whites.

Finn sniffs:

On the contary, racism is one of the most vile and despicable of human traits. Asked the family of Emitt Till. Or others who have been brutally murdered due to white racism.
